This should be a good game today. It'll be interesting to see how Finlands goaltending fares against our firepower. I like our chances.

There are a lot of 20 year olds in this tourny any other tourneys.. there's a vast difference in body strength and skating between 2-3 years of age gap at this age

I'm a big fan of MJ but yeah he's been a huge homer in this tournament which I get that he's Canadian, but so is Ferraro yet he was unbiased in his announcing

It wasn't really so much the homerism for me as much as it was just the complaining about the reffing. Things like "come on it was right in front of you" and "how can you not call that?" Just very unprofessional. Sounded like the drunk guy in the stands of a JrA game who does nothing but holler at the refs.
And the comment about the puck hitting the netting. Something about not taking his word for it because it was obviously out.
He's just gotten so self absorbed lately, like everybody should praise him for his wealth of knowledge.

Mason and Connor wow it was men against boys .. well it is what I thought a Canada v USA final .. going to go with Connor as talent is totally off da charts .. expect him to be da new world #1 inside 5 years .. would love to see Leafs try to snag Mason as he is exactly what we need .. winners just win baby

Hirvonen's had a coming out party in the tournament. Scored again in the 1st. It means nothing towards his NHL chances but it's good he has been even better than he was last time, and he was really good last time too.

Niemelä has been so disappointing. He's still playing "good", but I just expected so much more. Biggest thing that I've noticed how poor his accuracy is while shooting. Misses the net almost all the time. He was so good in 2021 WJC at getting pucks to the net. Wonder what happened?
