I got no problem with selling high on him. Jays were giving Moreno reps at CF earlier. I wonder if you could just put Moreno in right field and keep both Kirk and Jansen. Moreno has great speed which is pretty unheard of for a catcher and has a great arm that should play well there.

You're severely reducing his value by moving him from C to RF. Well have to bite the bullet and trade one of our catchers for help elsewhere.

Most heartbreaking losses of my sports watching life (so about 15 years)

- Federer blowing 40-15 at Wimbledon 2019
- Tonight
- 2015 vs Royals, Game 6
- Barca losing against Liverpool in 2019
- Warriors losing game 7 against Cleveland in 2016 (not a warriors fan but I really wanted them to finish that off)
- Penguins losing to Detroit in 2008

As I'm sure you can find out, I'm not a Leafs fan I'm only here for the Jays lol

I think the play was to be ready to use Berrios or Stripling as the 2nd pitcher/ 1st reliever. We were playing this like it was a 5 or 7 game series.

I like John a lot so I am not going to harp on him too much, but I don't like the early yanks of the starters. Let your horses clean up their own messes. What are the Jays paying Gausman 110 over 5 years for? He should have been given the chance to clean up the mess in that 6th inning. Who knows, we might be playing tomorrow if he was given that chance. Mayza has sucked late in the season.

For the alleged geniuses who thought taking Gausman out at that point was the right move, I told you people would be questioning. Just watched Steve Phillips on TSN say he was confused by the move as well saying that turning Santana to hit from the right side was wrong because he’s a better hitter from that side.

Still blows my mind how bad a move it was. Going to be a long winter of reflection for Schneider.

mayza and bass were simply useless should have went with Romano or kept Garcia in the eighth instead of no out bass

I like him too, but that doesn’t mean he made the right decision. It was a huge factor in this epic historical collapse.

Damn thats actually one of the worst losses in franchise history.

I wonder whos gonna wear this one
This loss is mostly on Schneider

He should've let Gausman finish off the 6th inning and let Garcia start the 8th inning after pitching a strong 7th, and Bradley Jr. should've been playing instead of Tapia who was awful out field and at the plate

..just my 2 cents

Schneider could have done so much differently. Gaus was already on a high pitch count and ended up loading the bases, should he even have started the inning?

Why did we get married to the idea this wasn't a do or die game? Use another starter.

Why didnt Bradley come in as a defensive replacement when we were up 7 runs?

Should've left Gausman in there in the 6th, and should've put Bradley in centre and Springer to right to start the 8th...those two mistakes will haunt him if he loses his job. If Gaus gets Santana out or even if the centre fielder catches that Crawford fly ball it's a completely different season

The more I think about this, then more I believe that Schneider just gave us a masterclass into how not to manage an MLB game.

Teams not perfect but he made this into a train wreck. He needs to go.
You really think he should go because he managed one game poorly? I’m sure he will learn from this experience.

The biggest problem was the bullpen was trash.

Pressure is on and he managed arguably the worst loss in our history.

Do you trust him in another series if we are good enough to get here next season? I certainly don't.

I don’t know guys. Up 9-5 in the 8th with your two best relievers left. This isn’t on Schneider, Mayza or Tapia.

Had the opportunity and the players couldn’t get it done. Pretty much 4 singles lost you the lead.

Also yesterday, your start mostly shows up, you pen shows up and your defense shows up. But you offense doesn’t.

tonight you starter shows up. Your hitting shows you. Your defense is ok. But the pen doesn’t.

Just terrible timing to lose one element at the worst time.
