Should have used picks to get rid of Armia and Hoffman has 2 years left i thinkHoffman has another 3 years to his contract. Armia, too, I think.

Kemell falling so much is odd to me.
No, not at all.Seems you want to crap on Slafkovsky without giving him a chance to even play his first game. You must be best scout around.
Occasionally post my thoughts, and certainly don't take myself so seriouslyI take hours out of my days to scout and share my opinion on these guys, what do you do around here?
Subban was like that at the draft and honestly I do think it helped him. Slaf has a history as a hard worker already and him embracing it so well is all good imoI will say this. He seems kinda lively, whereas Wright seems more wet blanketish. Not that that matters, but it might help him fit in the market better.
I know hes skilled and all and I could 100% be wrong but theres some significant flaws in his game that scare me. Hes not even lanky, theres no physical growth left to him, a few pounds here and there.I really think you have Slaf pegged wrong.
Dach vs Nazar is the question
Almost as short as caufield. Height that short always scares away NHL teams.Surprised to see Kemell still on the board.
Does it make sense for us to go after him? We still have ammo to trade up.Almost as short as caufield. Height that short always scares away NHL teams.

If it makes you feel better Puljujarvi was a significantly better SM-Liiga player than Slafkovsky, who was a non-entity as a prospect until he rocked the Kazakhstan and Italy national teamsHe better do. None of that Puljujarvi bullshit.
Man we cant have anything nice ever.
agreed 100%Not really. They didn't give up a lot for him. They dealt from a position of strength in LD to pick up a big 21 year old center who was a recent #3 pick. Worthwhile flyer. This is Habs analytics and the Team 33 group at work.
No, not at all.
I'm saying the downside risk is immense. Do you agree with that statement?
That's hilarious cause 1/2 hr ago you hated the pick lolOh for f*** sakes I just can't bring myself to hate a Habs prospect.
SLAFKOVSKY FOR LIFE BABY WOOHOO GHG
You need to get past his Liiga stats. He was 17 years old and has terrific upside in the NHL. You can't simply dismiss what he did at Hlinka-Gretzky, Olympics and Worlds. He has shown he has the ability and his all-around play took a huge leap this year. He's still growing into his large frame and figuring out his strength. He has a mean streak too and will be a force in the playoffs.Wright is irrelevant. Slafkovsky is the one the Habs picked and Slafkovsky is the one who has a record-low (or near to the record low) league points scored for a top3 pick.
I don't hate Slaf. Just didn't think he was worth the 1st OA.I get loving Wright. I don’t get hating Slafkovsky. He’ll be amazing.
Forget about the 13th pick. We entered the draft with Romanov (and two of our multiple 2nd/3rd round picks) and left it with Dach. That's the change. I do hope Dach is able to bounce back too, it's a risky move for sure.We traded for a 21 year old instead of drafting an 18 year old. I hope Dach's wrist does better than Drouin's...
