I think the thing with Babcock is that he's best for a veteran team that can handle his hardassery. Leafs fans by 19-20 were sick of him. Apart from a few veteran guys this team is pretty young and will probably get younger over the next three years so the next coach needs to be someone that works well with youth.

SN article lists Vlasic as one of the potentially top buyout candidates this off-season, but notes it's somewhat complicated given his contract structure. Basically, apparently if the Sharks are OK with tanking for a couple more years, they should keep him, but if they want to win quickly, buyout makes more sense.

The way I see it, my job is stressful, putting out hockey opinions is fun and takes my mind off work, so I don't want it to also be work.

Dont see Kahk getting traded but if you really overpay like a mid first and above you could certainly have him. Reimer is probably a second and a B prospect
