Hearing some players looked exceptional at PEI HPP top forwards were Nicholson, Campbell, and Griffin. Top D were Waugh, Smith, and Taylor. Goaltenders were Gallant, Aiken, Mackinnon. Sharkey, Power and Dickson showed well too. Wood wasn’t there.

I think if Mount gets Connor Arsenault , William Shields, that will be similar as last year. All BIG NAMES, otherwise, they may not get too much attention this year.
Connor Arsenault will play with the Vitos and Wil Shields was on the #2 ranked team in the US last yr, you'd have to think he would return to BK Selecks, both are better options than Mount Academy

That is what I mean, Mount cannot recruit BIG NAME this year.
Due to Covid-19 last year, some 2005 good players could not travel to US and they decided to go to Mount. This year Covid is getting better, players can travel again so it is hard for Mount to recruit TOP PLAYERS from the region.
I would say the big draft 2021 for Mount cannot repeat next year.

I'm sure coach Olivier has reached out to all top PEI players, but all will choose U18 PEI/NB league and travel this yr, maybe some are heading to High end Prep schools in USA or Canada also.

Yes, heard all top PEI players were signed with Knight or Wilds.
Tyler Wood is still heading to US(South Kent Select).

Rosters are almost completed in Quebec Midget AAA. A lot of strange decisions on who stays and who is cut. Have to wonder if the 2 doses of vaccine required to play in AAA have something to do with it.

I'm starting to get comfortable with the ranges in which most players will be drafted.

Indeed, some strange decision

Kids I know who were not vaccinated got the 1st shot last week. Vast majority is 2x vaccinated.

1 draft still to be held at 3:00p, will be interesting if some kids left behind will be taken

NS U18 Rosters are all but finalized...1 or 2 player decisions left on most Teams. A few big names still opting between Jr A and U18....with the Telus cup in Cape Breton this year, Coaches will be urging their 04's to stick around.

Has New Brunswick broken camp in the U18 yet? Most 06 kids staying close to home or have some left for prep? I heard Kilfoil and Paul probably the top two 07’s are heading south. Not sure where but heard they are going.

Kilfoil went to Mount St. Charles this year.
Paul went to Cardigan Mountain School last year, not sure this year.

Taylor is playing wild this year and maclean likely won’t play this season due to his knee injury

NS will get most of my attention until December when I'll get more PEI and NB in. Early bird tournament this weekend in NS and I'll be there watching. I think all rosters are filled now across the province. Valley being the last - so that is where I'll give a few comments team wise as I just looked at the roster - so it's on my mind. It seems they did well picking up at least 3 players who were on the CSR/Q draft last year that are new to the team, 1 forward and 2 defense. Orr is one of the defensemen coming back from prep, apparently he is returning to defense after playing forward last season unless the roster is messed up. I thought he was looking much better as a forward so surprised by this change as it may sort of end his prospects. Gotta go with what you love though position wise. Wilkins probably will be the best of the defense on the team so that team may surprise this year with a pretty solid top end forward line as well. Not much in the way of the 06 year really in the region - Lutz was good in bantam and I think will have a good year and will be one to watch within the top 5 rounds.

Glad to see things starting up and looking forward to having a much broader live view of things this year with in person views. Last year was tough to get through! Happy Scouting and Analyzing all! My prediction for the year team wise:

1. Macs
2. Subaru
3. Wildcats
4. Pictou
5. Cape Breton
6. Cole Harbour
7. Rush
8. South Shore

Mount released U17 roster.
Guess not many players will be drafted next year. We will say how they develop this season.

I see 6-7 guys that could get drafted in there, but probably no high pick.

U18 #2 uploaded their roster as well, with 4 2006 added.. may not be high draft picks but there is potential there with a year of development.

Watched almost all Nova Scotia teams today... Would not say that any 2006s dominated but some strong showings, especially from the players from Cole Harbour and Weeks Major in my opinion. That was one hell of a game.

I had the same impression. Not many 2006 as the teams on average I think are older this year but some decent showings so far.

Was at the Ns showcase as well this past weekend , I have to agree with wintersun, the cole harbour 2006 players were by far the better of the class . What a game , Reece Peitzche , Ben Robertson (Wolfpack) and also Cade Moser from Pictou we’re as advertised , the Peitzche kid is like an 18 yr old player and he’s only 14 very impressive .
