I already mentioned in my post that some guys will be added as I see more of them. I never said anywhere that this list would not change, I even said that there are more maritime players that I'm keeping track of, but didn't want to list them all.
Also, this is my personal evaluation. I will change my mind, but even if some guys end up going in ranges I didn't expect at the draft, it could just be that I don't agree with where the kid ended up being drafted.
I would not care much about summer showcases to decide if a player is good or not. I've seen a player be utterly useless in some showcases and go 1st overall in the Q in a recent year. It doesn't matter at all.
Just in the 2021 draft, there were some showcases in Montreal weeks before in the draft, and one of the players that went in the first round looked like he didn't even try, and all the scouts saw it. Still went in the first round. You don't decide of a player's future as a 18 to 20 years old based on a summer tournament with no stakes when they are 15 years old, you try to project their hockey sense, their skill level, etc...
As for the Mount Academy players that's a team I have not really scouted yet, same goes for the NL guys. So of course, some players from there could be missing on my list. At the end of the day, I live in Quebec so those are the guys I see the most, but I'm pretty confident in most of the Atlantic guys I listed.
