Maurice going to get a big fine for his comments about the refs last night. Even went as far as to say one of them had a personal grudge against him.

Of course the refs will never have to explain themselves to anyone though

Maurice fined $25k. And once again the NHL reminds us that there is no officiating problem, there is only a Coaches Complaining about Officiating problem. Well done!

Not the biggest Maurice fan, but it's awesome to see him say what needed to be said then take a fine. St. Laurent was a disgusting POS in that game against the Leafs. That crap eating grin he gave Maurice while screwing over FLA said it all. Zero respect for him. Sullivan being somewhat vocal about the poor reffing is good as well. Hopefully more coaches start calling out the reffing. Poor reffing has been an issue for many years, yet the NHL does nothing about it. Most refs in the league are fine and do an honest job. Several of them not so much.

Feisty game between TB and Edmonton, good scrap between Maroon and Kostin.

I couldn't agree more.

A Buff fan posted a pic of Miller and Briere on the main board.

Didn't want to spoil their fun, so:

Honeymoon's over in Vegas

I liked Cassidy, but all signs sure point to firing him being one of the best things they could have done.

I can only imagine the conversations that must have led up to that decision.

Eichel probably goes to bed dreaming of Boston lol

Max Pacioretty is one of the most unlikable players I can remember, but I feel a little bad for him. Just came back from an Achilles injury and crumpled to the ice on a non-contact play at the end of a 5-2 game last night. Season definitely done, possibly his career as well.

Oh no.

The league wants to do something unique with the awards show. :help:

I forgot it will be in Nashville this year. Be cool for Bergeron to win Selke #6 in the same building where he was drafted 20 years ago
