That Matthew Tkachuk just lost game 3 on 3.Stays out tired gets puck and nothing there but still trys to shoot it through D man.He blocks it takes puck and Tkachuk heads for bench behind play and they scored. What a selfish selfish play.He should have kicked it back and got a change instead of giving up puck possession.Stuff like that is mind boggling to a coach.Maurice should want to scream.

I don't wa
Both from Quebec giving Leafs calls is strange
terrible play by Tkachuk in OT to take a weak shot and give puck away

If I was Maurice I would be fuming after this game, the refs all of a sudden put their whistles away in the 3rd period. That garbage penalty late in the 2nd period which led to the Mathews goal was the pivotal call of the game. I don't want to hear Leafs fans complain about the officiating again this year. They got more PP's tonight then we usually get over a 5 game span.

Maurice going to get a big fine for his comments about the refs last night. Even went as far as to say one of them had a personal grudge against him.

Of course the refs will never have to explain themselves to anyone though.

Both from Quebec giving Leafs calls is strange
When Maurice was with Winnipeg he called one of those losers out for bias and has paid for it ever since! Same with Senators when they hired a investigator who deemed the Karlsson injury intentional after the league deemed it accidental! Getting on the wrong side of the officials is a no win game, just ask Marshand.

They should have to explain how they gave Gudas a tripping penalty for shoulder on shoulder hit that turned into a goal to bring the Leafs to within a goal! Since going to 2 referees we are seeing more missed calls, bad calls, and official scrums to try to decifer the rules that some of them don't seem to know.

Just remember the name of these refs, Lambert and St.Laurent and pray we never get them against Toronto.

Leafs tie it up, fluke goal.

To his credit, Steve Dangle as a Leafs fan called the officiating in this game a disgrace too. Clearly it was horrific. Too many nights like this in the NHL.

Another penalty fest. I didn't see the game, perhaps they were all warranted, IDK. But it's not good for the game in general when that many guys are marching to the box. Some of the officials probably need to evaluate how they're calling games.

I like what Dangle said in his video - in the Panthers/Leafs game, we're supposed to believe that there were like 16 infractions or whatever exactly it was in the first 41 mins of the game, and then not a single one through the remaining 19 plus OT? That's absurd. Clearly the refs put the whistle away and changed their standard. And that's the thing that continues to baffle me about the NHL - I don't know any other sport in the world where the officials will call the game differently at different times, and where the standard of what is and isn't a penalty changes based on context and personal whim. It's bizarre.
