It's just crazy .Florida deserved a couple but a few real questionable calls.Its definitely scoreboard controlling.Gonna look it up see who reffing

We better hope we don’t see Lambert and St.Laurent as refs when we play the Leafs. These 2 clowns tonight might as well be wearing Leafs jerseys.

Wow, they actually reversed the Panthers penalty and gave it to Toronto, what a clown show.
The belief some have that the Leafs get the rub of the green with the refs is a myth. There's absolutely nothing in the penalty stats to back it up.
Bias in individual games? Maybe. But in general, it's just not true.
You haven't been watching this game Aussie, it's pretty bad. For the record I have always believed that some refs favour certain teams over others, refs are human after all and were fans as kids.

Yeah I haven't, I acknowledge that (for the record I'm watching Jets-Habs). So no comment on this particular game. But the posts here just made me think of that general viewpoint that's out there around bias towards Toronto. And it just doesn't wash with the numbers.
I do think bias in officials exists, but I think by far the bigger influence is sheer incompetence and human error, mixed with mistaken attempts at game management. That's the bigger issue for me.
Leafs of course score. Florida will have a hard time winning this game in the 3rd as they are on back to backs and they have been on the PK for half the game.
The Panthers must be regretting the hiring of Maurice, never been a fan of his. Had some stacked teams in Winnipeg and could never even get to the finals.
