That was a good goal. He doesn't touch the puck once it enters the zone until teammate touches the line. Makar is still behind the blueline and doesn't touch it again in the zone until it's cleared.



Makar either got really lucky or he is way too good and way too smart.

I tried to make this make sense by reading the rulebook and I just can't. As far as I could tell, Makar was in control of the puck even if he wasn't physically touching it at the moment the puck crossed the line. The language the rulebook uses is "in control" of the puck.
