Carolina up 2-1. They are trying to play a counterattacking style but aren't defending well enough to be effective. Boston has looked the better team.

Jarvis just took a slapshot to the balls. I remember years ago a player taking one there in the playoffs and one of his testicles ruptured.

Boston ties it up on the PP. Carolina taking way too many penalties.

When I saw McAvoy was out, I was convinced that Boston would completely fall apart.

Let's see if they can hold it for a couple more games without their two best defencemen...

That Brad Marchand guy is pretty good apparently. 5 point night in a 5-2 win.

Him and Bergeron just don’t seem to age.

such a blown chance for the canes

watch the bruins go all the way to the SCF and make our pick 31st overall or something. just like when we had philly's pick in 2010 and they went to the finals

When was the last time the Lightning lost consecutive playoff games? Have to assume it’s probably the Columbus sweep, they never seem to give extended momentum to the opponent during a series in this run

Seriously would rather a giant meteor hit Crypto than see either LA or Edmonton win. My office directly overlooks the arena, so if said meteor could take out my building so I don't have to go in to work tomorrow that'd be great.

Svech is a handful, mean streak and has elite skill. Can we draft someone like that.

Mase-dawg Mctavish?
Although Mctavish doesn't seem mean. But then again, Svech didn't really get mean until he was clocked by Ovechkin in a fight. He probably looked up to Ovie too and then boom, your idol punches you in the face.....I'd become mean too.

Who did Mctavish look up to growing up?

PS I miss Getzbald already. If there's any even small news of him returning plz let the Sharks board know.

I don't think McTavish has the skill/mean streak/dynamic ability Svech has, but he has just as good of shot for sure. If he turned into a player like Svech I'd be floored and thrilled though.

Shouldn't it be 17-12? (EDIT: No, you are correct, Kings were shut out in Game 2 and I can't add).

Fact of the matter for me is no matter what the margin of goal differential is, I should not come away as underwhelmed with a team that has McDavid and Draisaitl on it at even strength as I do with the Oilers.

No it’s 17-10.

Yeah their blueline is an absolute trainwreck. Doesn’t matter how good your forward group is when an injured Nurse and a 40 year old Duncan Keith are your two best dmen you’re not making it far.
