Lou is going to go overboard. He's getting old, and the Isles are in win-now mode. I wouldn't be surprised if he offered Gaudreau $11.5 million per year -- he can easily trade Beauvillier and still make the cap work next year and the year after.

If anything I figure Marc should get the PTO (and not an actual contract) and Eric should have gotten the PTO last year. He's like 38 and didn't play in the NHL at all last year, nor was offered anything other than an AHL deal?
