And that's why I'm glad you're not in charge.

As someone on the back nine I feel each passing season acutely. That said what can I do? The team will ignore angry emails or calls and I live too far away for them to care about losing me as a season ticket holder. Raging won’t change anything. Hopefully they can play better team defense and get some decent goaltending and health this season and we can see where they go from there. Right now is a low point but the team is never as bad as the low point and never as good as the high point.

Welp I see that this situation has reignited the battle between the optimists and skeptics.

This is team that has been a dumpster fire on the ice for a decade, and has spent the last five years banking on “hope”, “potential”, and “promise” that hasn’t materialized, led by an unproven GM and a washed up head coach…I see skepticism as a perfectly logical default position.
