Yeah, because you don't know WTF you're talking about.

Shane Wright's advanved analytics are being calculated against junior teenagers in the OHL
Slaf's are being compared to pros in Finland.

If you can't see the difference than keep your head in the sand. Show me past 2OAs vs the pros and compare them to Slafs and then let's talk.

But again, I'm sure you know more than the scouts lol. Clown shit.

The analytical models are adjusted for competition/league that the player is playing in, I already clarified that for you.

Current lines on DraftKings. Keep in mind Gauthier was about +5000 earlier today 😬

No they're not. I literally checked the metrics. It's false. You're making it up. Those AA are built for common competition. It's EXTREMELY difficult to make an algorithm to do otherwise.

The two biggest deals the Devils have done in the last eight years have been what...having Hall fall into their laps thanks to idiot Chiarelli and the Subban trade, which proved to be more style than substance. Oh and signing Hamilton, great one big FA signing in eight years. Other than that all we've done are 2nd and 3rd rounder trades for players, selling off and endlessly waiting for lotto balls and prospects to hit.

Look I don't want to do stupid crap either but some of you ARE too risk-averse. You can't literally have a team of just draft picks and one or two FA signings.
They have given away a bunch 2nd rounders for mediocre Players.

Had they still been back around 5-6-7 pre-lottery I probably would have been ok with the risk that Ottawa took (I think the Devils are better positioned than Ottawa), but not at 2.

Slaf going 1 would be so far from surprising. It's been my expected outcome these past few days. Now just don't f*** it up at 2 with a Cutter or Kasper.

Holy cow Slaf and Wright now neck and neck at -125…. Gauthier at +450 for 2nd overall

I got a weird vibe on Wright. Doesn’t look like a player that gives it his all / does whatever it takes to win. Plenty of scouts said it looks like he is just going through the motions while paying and the effort just isn’t there.
I honestly think if Habs go Slaf, we pass on Wright and take someone like Cooley / Jiricek / Nemen or trade down and take of of those.
I just het funky vines about Wright
