I’d imagine if the team drafts Nemec, then they will trade Mailloux shortly after. Right or wrong, it might be the catalyst to get rid of a PR headache from the previous management team.
I’m not sure he has the speed of play to be suited to the North American game but who knows, I remember thinking the same with Kubailk watching him in Czech league. And Kubalik has become a pretty decent NHLer, same could happen with bucek.

Yeah I don’t think it would be smart at this point in time, but I can see it happening.I've never been a fan of Mailloux's play, so no love lost from me.
But I would hope we would at least let him dominate a full year in the OHL with no additional negative PR incidents, rather than trade him now at his lowest value.
Would be stupid to sell low on Mailloux.I’d imagine if the team drafts Nemec, then they will trade Mailloux shortly after. Right or wrong, it might be the catalyst to get rid of a PR headache from the previous management team.
I wonder who has a better track record in the mock drafts lolI'm good if we don't.
That makes 0 sense.I’d imagine if the team drafts Nemec, then they will trade Mailloux shortly after. Right or wrong, it might be the catalyst to get rid of a PR headache from the previous management team.
I don’t agree with points 2 and 3. But regardless, I’m not saying they should do it. I just wouldn’t be totally surprised. That makes 0 sense.
-If they have too many RD prospects (which they don't), they could still wait 4 years before making a decision on Mailloux since he could play up to 3 years in the ahl.
-The new management isn't responsible for the Mailloux pick, so they cannot be criticized for it.
-Trading Mailloux now after all the talks of making Mailloux a better person is actually worse PR for the franchise.
-Trading Mailloux at his lowest value is dumb as a brick and no GM with a wee bit of intelligence would do that.
Who says we would be selling low?Would be stupid to sell low on Mailloux.
yes, i'm sure teams are lining up to give premium assets for him.Who says we would be selling low?
As long as we stay in the Top 5, I don’t see a way to make a bad pick unless they go completely off the board.

Vinzenz Rohrer is being underrated IMO. Youngest player in the draft, first season in NA, one of the worst team in the OHL and he still leads his team in points. I think there's lots of room for improvement stats-wise. Sleeper pick!
I'm not saying he is the next conor mcdavid but you get the point.
Armia is way too inconsistent the way he plays, will have some dominants shifts once in a while where he uses his tools well, but most of the times, he cant uses it properly. My own comparison with Armia makes only sense if you think of those rare dominant shifts. You take those rare shifts and thats what Slafkovsky brings on a constent basis if you multiply it x 10 the offensive awareness, skills and finishing.Won't lie, the Armia-Slaf talk made me throw up in my mouth a bit

Not overly worried about Jiricek skating but I feel like Nemec has the best decision making in the D zone.Kinda like Nemac more after watching both of their draft profile clips, Jiricek’s skating worries me a bit. Think he’d pair better with either Romanov or Ghule also
I'm no scout by any means but when I watch Nemec play he reminds me a lot of Markov. Great with the stick and can run a PPNot overly worried about Jiricek skating but I feel like Nemec has the best decision making in the D zone.
