This is Central scouting European ranking.
I would just give this list to Trent Mann and say .. just take the BPA on this list.
Assuming that Wright and Cooley are taken and not available at the time of our 7th pick.

Lambert is going to be on quite a few teams No Draft lists, and he'll probably be on a few teams top 10 lists. I would imagine he goes somewhere in the 15-25 range

Sens really should be going to Europe for their pick, the European crop is much more impressive than it's NA counterparts outside of Wright and Cooley.

Kemell, Kasper and Lekkerimaki are all above Gauthier/Savoie/Geekie for me. I do like the NA D much better in our range though, Jiricek and Nemec are the only Euro top 10 type picks and they will be gone, if we wanted to go that route. Mintuyuk and Korchinski are extremely strong top 10 contenders. Yurev would be one of the best players skill and impact wise, but his situation makes things very murky.

Wouldn't mind Korchinski's teammate Jared Davidson as one of our 5th-7th round overagers.
Hearing some teams are in love with Ostlund like top 3 level prospect.

Kasper seems like he would be a really solid pick at 7 (in my very uneducated opinion). Plus there's a decent shot he's still on the board.

Hearing some teams are in love with Ohgren like top 3 level prospect.

I really don't know what to make of him. Looked really average at the U18s but Craig Button said at one point that he was playing through injury.

Kid absolutely demolished Lekkerimaki and Ostlund production-wise at the junior level.

I'd be OK with that.

By that I mean someone picking him in the top 3. He's, by all accounts, a good player but that seems like a reach.

EDIT: I know you had Ostlubd up as a typo but I'll leave it as applies to Ohgren too.

Ohgren seems to have the higher upside but i heard this from someone that was well connected that Ostlund is the better prospect. Ohgren did demolish Lekkerimaki but that was because he was up in the SHL for half the season. They had very comparable production in regards to ppg at the JR level. Personally noticed Lekkerimaki the most at the U 18. I would be pretty pumped if the sens picked him.

Recrutes latest top 10 has Slafkovsky 1, Lekkerimaki 3, Ostlund 4, Ohgren 8 and Kemell 9

Just an FYI. I think they change their rankings monthly but I am pretty sure they had Ostlund and Ohgren in the top 10 in their previous iteration.

Draftin Europe (only European prospects) Had Ostlund 3 and projected him as top 7 value pre U-18s . He did not hurt himself there,

also on Brad Lambert

I'd be OK with Lekk at 7 for the Sens too. If I was picking top 3 I wouldn't for any of the three Djurgardens kids.

Good players but I don't see top 3 there. But hey, maybe that's why I get paid ZERO bucks to scout hockey. :)

7 goals in 26 SHL games as a 17 year old is pretty darn good. So is 15 points in 6 games at U18. He has alot of skill. The three of them were a really good line, but he stood out the most to me.

I always end up with better drafts via FC.. they have so many players ranked 999 or unranked and you can always get Snuggerud in the 2nd which would be nice but. Anyway they are all dependent on their questionable ranking. I used draftpro for this .. I don't like the interface but they have better but still not great rankings. I Doubt Pickering is available at 57 ... Just for fun anyway.

Here's what I got using the draftpro site you mentioned on my first attempt in 4 rds. Yes, these sites like so many ranking sites are all over the place with prospects. Again this draft like others will turn into a crapshoot as to where some players will & will not be drafted. Other than Wright & even he's a toss up, it's anyone's guess as to where these guys will end up going. Just hope that Ottawa gets really lucky & is able to acquire 3 or 4 very good players who end up as part of their future teams.

1. Simon Nemec RD
2. Luca Del Bel Belluz C
3. Devin Kaplin RW
4. Noah Warren RD
5. Tyler Brennan G

I'd be fine with anyone of these guys in the first rd, given that the top guys will likely be gone. Ottawa could use a top pairing RD or top line forward & Jiricek might not be there, but IMO he is the most likely to drop to us.

1. David Jiricek RD - hopefully, he falls to Ott
2. Cutter Gauthier LW/C - if Jiricek is gone Cutter would be a very good prospect
3. Danila Yurov C/RW - could be the best two way player in the top 10
4. Johnathan Lekkerimaki RW - IMO could be the best goal scorer & sniper
5. Frank Nazar RW - speed, skill & a motor that doesn't quit

I've seen a bit of video on him and i also like what i see. Seems like some are really high on him (like top-10 level high) and some see him as a mid-first round guy. Maybe they just haven't caught up with the wave yet but he definitely feels like a late riser.

How @aragorn ranks prospects: ;)

Yea, I've said how he can be viewed as a top 10 player from the draft in a few years. I had him slated as a potential top 5 pick heading into the year. Love his creativity and touches on the puck. Really high IQ player, hardworking, strong motor, 2 way capable, not a great skater. Saw him as Raymond type player for this draft. He was outplaying him as a 16 year old.

Also was/am really high on Kaspars for a few months now. Wanted Sens to find a way to trade up and get him in 1st round. But looks to be out of our reach now with others starting to take notice.

I’m not seeing it with Nazar but I was one of the idiots that was not that high on Owen Power before the Worlds last year.

Ohgrens J20 goal totals hard to ignore. Haven’t seen any of them though so no idea how he’s scoring them.

Why has Lambert fallen in prospect rankings? What am I missing?
Attitude I guess. He always looks dynamite to me. And it’s not like it’s laziness he seems to leave it out on the ice everytime
I’ve seen him play. I would be down for him at 7th
