They had me at “is he the next Tim Stützle?”
Terrible idea - Fiala is a UFA in a year. Why would AZ trade Keller ? That’s like us trading Norris …Keller or Fiala for the 7th
These are trades that Ottawa should do in an instant since they are already impact players
keller would fit like a glove with this core on a sweet contract
There would have to be a long term extension in place for Fiala or he's a hard pass. That's obvious though. Dorion has his moments of stupidity, but even he's not giving up the 7th + + + without a 7 year extension in place.Terrible idea - Fiala is a UFA in a year. Why would AZ trade Keller ? Agreed, while sportsnet is dumb for asking if Lekkermaki is the next Stützle, Savoie actually reminds me alot of Timmy.I feel like we'd be crazy to pass up Savoie if he's at #7.

So Mann wants to keep the 7th overall and draft, and Dorion doesn't, or at least has made it public he's open for business & for moving the 7th overall? Maybe I'm reading too much into this situation, but the thought did cross my mind. Here's the story
GARRIOCH: Senators' chief scout Trent Mann keeping all options open with No. 7 pick
Should the Ottawa Senators use the No. 7 selection of the NHL draft, the club will leave the draft with a strong prospect for the future.ottawasun.com
Of course Mann want's to keep 7th OA, his job is to scout and draft good players, that's the best asset at his disposal to do so. Trading it away essentially throws away a year's worth of work scouting the top prospects, even if it's the best thing for the team right now he's still going to be disappointed that he doesn't get a chance to grab a kid in the draft he's had his eye on all year.So Mann wants to keep the 7th overall and draft, and Dorion doesn't, or at least has made it public he's open for business & for moving the 7th overall? Sure, I get that. I just was thinking more if there were two different visions internally about the team and what it needs at this point.Of course Mann want's to keep 7th OA, his job is to scout and draft good players, that's the best asset at his disposal to do so. If we get Kemell do you want him spending another in Finland or to play in the CHL same for Lekkerimäki
Who do you have in mind that is realistic & that we can afford?they are good playmakers
we need great
Would be fun to watch Kemell put up 120+ points with Bedard in ReginaIf we get Kemell do you want him spending another in Finland or to play in the CHL same for Lekkerimäki
Because he gives off Logan Brown vibes. Skilled for sure but he has an air of entitlement. He needs to go to an organization frankly speaking has their stuff together and the clout to tell his dad to shut the hell up.We don’t talk about Brad lambert enough. The guy is electric and would be a hype pick. I want a hype pick

Detroit for example is a great place for him.
