I hope not. His trades for old vets have not helped the team much.Wouldn't be surprised if we don't pick with our own 1st rounder. Dorion's job on the line = he's going to go all out.

Same thing was said about Karlsson when he was drafted.Still 5"10 154 pounds. Seriously needs to put on weight.
Talented players but surprised he's ranked soo low.Same thing was said about Karlsson when he was drafted.

He was about 157 pounds at the draft. Was Karlsson that light? 154 is rail thin.
I bet Howard moves up the draft rankings after this game.So Howard with 4 goals today. I forgot this game was on and got busy doing other crap.
Any wrap ups?
Honestly, when you look at the odds, it really isn't that big of a difference if you finish anywhere from 3rd-7th. Like Seattle has a 10.9% at 1st overall, and we currently have a 6.7% chance at 1st. That really isn't that big of a difference at all. I feel like in terms of the lottery, it really doesn't matter where you finish. If you're not bottom 2 in the league, then there's really not that much of an advantage between 3-7.
If we win out we can drop to 11th depending on the teams behind us.
True, San Jose plays Anaheim, do the most we could drop is to 10th pre-lottery.There's probably a 2% chance they pass anyone other than Detroit. 0% chance they drop to 11th unless it's through the lottery
We lost to Kraken which was a surprise then Gus played great for us to get a W against Van which was also a surprise...beating CBJ and the Habs wasn't a stretch (and there is ZERO chance I would have wanted to lose to the HABS at home regardless).
Easy stretch to finish the season...not much you can do about it as they can't just sit Norris/Stu/Brady/Bath, etc...
We end up where we end up, might be frustrating to a degree but no use getting upset.
