Maybe it's me but move the world Juniors to July then move the draft to August. Sample guide.

Memorial Cup finals end June 29.

World Juniors starts July 11 ends July 22nd.

Draft combine is August 4th with the draft on August 12 and 13.

That way all healthy prospects can participate in the world Juniors and can help their draft stock.

Back to the draft lottery Ottawa is prepared to draft a good player.

Draft would need to happen before free agency, and the NHLPA isn't going to move free agency to August

Given the fact that the Sam Rinzel article will only be temporarily free I will post the videos from it here. There is 10 videos in total so I will use a couple of post.

This seems to be the first list i’ve seen that has Warren in the first round too albeit the last selection of it, glad to see be has some upward momentum within the scouting community.

I’m surprised to see Lambert still that high. He’s a good player, no doubt and maybe he’s this years Raty but he has definitely been disappointing and has been leapfrogged by many other players who are more consistent in my opinion.

Kemmel hasn’t produced like he did earlier in the season so it makes sens he has had some downward momentum. He needs more offensive consistency.

I’m also surprised to see Pickering that high. Yeah he is extremely raw and has the potential that could warrent him being that high but i’m sceptical he ever reaches it.

Refreshing list for sure.

Sam doesn’t worry about sticking to the general narratives, nor does he hunt clicks with outlandish takes. He’s way more tuned in to the CHL but I like his work.

Goyette not in the first round? There is absolutely no chance that happens. He is a way better prospect than many players on that list. There is absolutely no scenario I'd take Luneau or Warren over him.
Luneau I take over Goyette 100/100, I take Goyette over Warren 100/100.

Would not be surprised to see either Goyette or Warren available close to our 2nd, would be extremely surprised to see Luneau.

I have been to a bunch of Gatineau games this year. Luneau will have to find a different level in his skating if he wants to be an impact player in the NHL. Solid smart but I wonder if he will ever be explosive enough I really think its limits his upside.

Looking forward to the U 18's

Sens D group is light . Chabot, Sanderson, Brann, Lassi, Zubb, and JBD aren’t intimidating any opposing forwards.

They traded up for Klevin and took Boucher early, I wonder if they trade up for Warren’s physicality . He probably won’t be there at OTT RD2.

OTT RD2 + BOS RD3 feels like a price Dorion would pay to move up 5-10 spots.

After having been to a bunch of Gatineau games Luneau gets caught flat footed or is way too slow skating wise way too often. He lets someone blow by him for a breakaway at least once a game. I've been more impressed with Warren than him.

Yeah I’d imagine lots of people on here have been across to Olympigue games, Luneau is likely one of the most viewed guys here.

I’ve only seen him live 3 times this year, but have been watching him since he was in Bamtam, I like him more than I did Chabot in 2015, and I absolutely loved Chabot. I’d take a Luneau in the top 10 over quite a few of the guys that are ranked there constantly.

I peg him as a solid 30 point 2 way guy who you can put on PP1 or PK1 for 24 minutes a night on the right side. Obviously my own personal opinion. He’s the 2nd best D prospect at the draft out of the Q I’ve watched aside from Dobson, with Chabot on ~an even ground as him.

I dont think him and Chabot were remotely close at this age. The skating difference is just way too big. Chabot also didnt mind laying the lumber a bit in Jr i expected more of it at the NHL level but that competitive edge is needed big time in Luneau's game. Skating can be worked on but he has a long way to go. I wish i could have seen more of Redden in jr as in some ways Luneau reminds me of him but skating isnt close to as good, just as a stylistic comparison.

Agree id take Warren over him too. I like his upside alot again comes down to skating but he plays with a mean streak too.

This also comes back to Goyette though, this guy can flat out score. Ottawa East in general gets massively under scouted. Then he didnt play hockey last year where anyone actually watches now he goes to Sudbury who stinks who also gets under scouted. Getting big time Giroux vibes, his offensive instincts are off the charts, so are his hands.
