Yeah, but the agent knows Aaron is a radio personality on 690 and anything he mentions will get out... Also I think it's fair to say that Sammy C probably got his info from his the agent too. I would think there's probably a reason for sharing this info, we're all meth addicts right now looking for the next hit of news.

Maybe but what would be the point? I'm trying to figure out what leaking that would do for anything - it doesn't change Montreal's mind.

They are speaking to all of the top 1 OA candidate's agents. Why would you ever consider for a nano second that they are focusing on just one agent?
 
Crazy thought: could we package a few of our thousands LHD prospects with #26 to get into the top 10 and nab Mintyukov?

Last player I had a "crush on" like that was Seth Jarvis, and Carolina took him just before us. :(

If there was a reason behind it.. I would guess that it just gives the entire situation a bit more pressure, especially with this taking place in Montreal and all the things that come with that.

You either have High IQ or not as a prospect. I am terrified by low IQ players, often they have other attributes (size) but Hockey IQ should be the highest on the list of priorities.

I have no clue. All we know is some noise, but nothing concrete apparently, so only them really know at this point and its possible they are not fully 100% decided yet. I believe Hughes when he says he will use all the time at his disposal, they will meet some of them before draft day apparently.

Listened to TSN 1050's OverDrive show earlier today and they had Carlo Colaiacovo on discussing if he'd be shocked if the Habs didn't pick Wright 1st overall and he said he would be shocked if they didn't take him. He called Wright's hockey sense off the charts.

Gord Miller also added that you take the right handed centerman and said that he's been highly touted since he's been 15-16 years old and like what happens a lot in their draft year they just pick everything about these players apart. I agree with Miller and that's what's been happening with Wright of late.
