Lol I feel like a we’ve all settled down a bit in the last three days though hahaha

It's been a much nicer time. Everyone is just reading tea leaves at this point looking to see who they take.

I'm fine with any of 'em. I just prefer the centers. It's too valuable of a position and its clear Slafkovsky hasn't made a case for the Habs to say he's unequivocally better than the centers. But clearly size is what is keeping him in the equation because his position isnt.

2 possibilities, I keep being the laughing stock on this board or I make a little wink to the ones concerned, nothing really mad, just worth a good laugh.

FWIW, I don't think you're a laughing stock even if I put a few 'haha' emoji's on some of the stuff you say.

You like Slaf
I like Cooley
Others like Wright

We all like our guys but I think we all get the attraction of the other player and ultimately want the Habs to get it right and if they don't get the best guy, they at least get a key player moving forward.

He didn't say they didn't know who -they- were picking. Just that they haven't told anyone. He said if he doesn't know, not to be egotistical, but he's talked to everyone you could talk to and they didn't tell him. So no one knows but the Habs.,
Feels like more Engels doesn't have anyone to talk to.

Shane Wright's right-handedness, usually an advantage, is less so for us since we got Suzuki locked up for a long time, and he's a RHS.

Always better to have the RH/LH combo à la Béliveau/Henri, Apps/Kennedy, Yzerman/Fedorov, Lemieux/Francis.

Not crucial, but it changes the angles of attack every shift and helps on faceoffs.

This!

Plus with Wright, Suzuki and Evans being RH

They are not centers but Caufield is RH, Anderson is RH

Only Dvorak & Poehling are LH.

de la rose vibes
Not at all, De la rose was always viewed as a third line type of player and I say that as someone that liked the pick a lot back then. Ohgren is very different. I can't see him going beyond the 17th pick. If the Canucks don't take him, I can see him go to Nashville

You don't pass on Wright because you have Evans as RH center... he will probably won't even still be with the Habs when will compete.

What about Stamkos/Point (both RH), Crosby/Malkin (LH) Bergeron/Krecji (RH), Datsyuk/Zetterberg (LH)
