2 possibilities, I keep being the laughing stock on this board or I make a little wink to the ones concerned, nothing really bad, just worth a good laugh.
You aren't a laughing stock. You went a bit over the top with the Shane wright criticism in my opinion and that drew the attention of those that don't understand people are allowed to have different opinions. The bashing you have taken here is far worst than your criticism of wright.

I for one, although disagreed with you and how you went about it this cycle, really value your thoughts and opinions, as well as the time you put into your job. I doubt most people here put 1/10 the effort you do.

It's been a much nicer time. Everyone is just reading tea leaves at this point looking to see who they take.

I'm fine with any of 'em. I just prefer the centers. It's too valuable of a position and its clear Slafkovsky hasn't made a case for the Habs to say he's unequivocally better than the centers. But clearly size is what is keeping him in the equation because his position isnt.

FWIW, I don't think you're a laughing stock even if I put a few 'haha' emoji's on some of the stuff you say.

You like Slaf
I like Cooley
Others like Wright

We all like our guys but I think we all get the attraction of the other player and ultimately want the Habs to get it right and if they don't get the best guy, they at least get a key player moving forward.
we're all at the acceptance state of denial

Shane Wright's right-handedness, usually an advantage, is less so for us since we got Suzuki locked up for a long time, and he's a RHS.

Always better to have the RH/LH combo à la Béliveau/Henri, Apps/Kennedy, Yzerman/Fedorov, Lemieux/Francis.

Not crucial, but it changes the angles of attack every shift and helps on faceoffs.
This is pure OCD. Letting handedness influence a first overall pick would be insanity.

For us Cooley fans that's disappointing. Hope it's not something he heard from the Habs!
Too many grey zones for Cooley to be picked First. It’s a Mike Milbury move, picking a guy at #1 when no other team in the league would. Same goes for Nemec.

And that would be great. Suzuki gets compared to Bergeron. It would be cool to have a Krejci. Bruins had success with a Bergeron-Krejci 1-2 punch. And I've mentioned this in many posts.

Neither Bergeron nor Krejci were 100-point centers. Both were responsible on both ends of the ice and would put between 60-85 pts.
I would be disappointed if Wright maxed out at Krejci level production. He was a borderline 20 goal scorer and 60ish point producer when not injured. Hopefully Wright will be a consistent 70 plus producer.

Yea, a 70-point producer would be great. Especially if Suzuki can be that guy, too.

I understand the expectations that come with a 1st overall pick. But personally, if the team is having success, but Wright becomes a 60-point center more than a 70-point one, I'd be more than happy, especially if he's effective on all aspects of the game.

Can always fix it by having a good LH 3rd C

Agreed though it's worth pointing out Krejci did step up big in the playoffs when they went on their runs
23 points in 25 games in 2011
26 points in 22 games in 2013
