The other day my wife asked me who I was texting and why I was so mad at them. She said I was visibly angry and typing furiously. I was on HFBoards.

If Habs pick Slaf or Cooley, Im expecting this draft to become absolutely chaotic.

If the Habs somehow end up drafting 2 of Wright/Cooley/Slaf/Nemec I think the bell center will actually explode and we'll have people fainting in the stands like the women when Elvis would dry hump his guitar.

You know, by the end of Bergevin's tenure he was getting so f***ing brazen with his bullshit. I was legitimately expecting him to call Dorion in Ottawa and offer to swap 2026 1st round picks as a challenge. "We are willing to literally bet that we'll be better than you in 5 years." Dorion would look like such a bitch if he said no.

I think NJ will be somewhat prepared for both scenarios but I do think they'd scramble a bit. Most likely trade down a spot with AZ if Slaf goes #1.

Doubtful to me since the odds NJ pick Cooley are very slim to none IMO. Cant see Arizona giving up quality assets to move up personally.

Has to be Shane Wright. Slaf will be amazing but drafting Wright will be really helpful for Suzuki. And that's what I want. Suzuki-Wright as top 2 C's for the next 10+ years (hopefully) really excites me.

I wanted Shane Wright... but right now... i'm on Logan Cooley team. This guy have potential to be the best player of this draft in 4-5 years, no doubt about that. I really like his game, he play like Zegras... that will be fun to watch him with Caufield on PP.
