Jones played more then fine too. Kid isn't the guy but he did his job.

The lack of discipline and just garbage playxalling.
Don't forget the lack of a running game.

We can complain about play calling on that last drive, but if we can execute, we just run the ball for a first.

Unfortunately that is a spot where you feel very uncomfortable having Jones try and run it.

As much as the coaching is hurting the team, I think the execution is lacking. I'm not sure how much NFL talent is on the roster right now. You see some flashes from guys but little in the way of consistent good play from QB to the o-line and down through the rest of the lineup on both sides of the ball, beyond maybe the kicker. I think that until the G-Men can win at the line of scrimmage consistently it's not going to get much better even if the coaching improves. As bad as the coaching was last night, it wasn't the coaches that went offsides on that last field goal for the WFT. Nothing says excitement like snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Besides the Jets outcome, I’m sure Darnold close to starting 2-0 on his new team isn’t helping.

I actually am happy for him but annoyed at Joe Douglas at the same time (and Zacha's whatever that was slagging me for saying I want to see Darnold fail in another spot before I give up on him, I wonder what he thinks now). The most overrated GM in any sport can go sod off too. Hasn't been able to build a freaking line, his supposed strength - had QB options falling out of the sky and we pick the least experienced one with the least experienced staff and the least viable backup QB so we can't even pull him when he's wetting his pants in games like this. Honestly that's a Devils-like approach, pre-Fitz anyway - just roll with a bunch of zygotes everywhere and think they'll just learn by osmosis.

It also doesn't help when the rookie on the other sideline actually looks like an NFL QB while ours looks like a ****ing joke.

He started hot but has looked pedestrian in the second half against a Saints team missing a slew of players and coaches. The refs have bailed him out a few times also. If I’m the Jets it’s not watching Darnold that’s the problem.

Whatever you f***ing Giants fans think is ineptitude is no way near as bad as the dysfunction that plagues the other NJ football team
