Very shocked that the dolphins fired flores I assume he will latch onto somewhere pretty quick where do they go from here ? Harbaugh? This probably also takes them out of the Watson sweepstakes as it was rumored the main reason for wanting to go to Miami was flores

a lot of head coaching spots open there will be some new faces on the sidelines next year

Fans trying to convince themselves that keeping Judge so the new GM can fire him is a good move is just...it's so deluded I would believe you if you told me they were team plants

Lol f*** off Judge. What a joke. I was at the game yesterday and the loudest it got was when lineman reported as eligible. There were like 15k people in the stands. The worst professional sports game I’ve ever attended, but I only went because a friend of a friend had a suite.

I've never seen that parking lot more empty before kickoff then yesterday

you do realize the friend of your friend was ordered into that suite by the court as a penalty for a parole violation. It was two months in jail or the Giants and he was a repeat violator so they went with the more severe punishment.

I rather you be GM then Abrams

i think any competent professional with a history of following the gane and a willingness to surround yourself with good people and letting them do their thing. Lots of college and pro scouts and take what the coaches want to accomplish into account when you choose players in the draft and also who to sign from the pro ranks. For example, don’t sign a garden variety 3-4 guy and expect your defensive coaches to be able to reach him 4-3. Maybe it works but get the coaches to decide if they want to take on that project. Make an extra effort to pick lineman instead both sides of the ball. Don’t treat the players like fungible goods and avoid all but the most supremely talented divas. Don’t pay your gane manager QB top dollar. Support your coordinators for other jobs so other good ones will want to coach for you. It’s a lot of work but it’s not that complicated.

Like I said, winning two Super Bowls was the worst thing to happen to John Mara. No rings, no meddling from him.

It's sad seeing fans convincing themselves it's a good idea to keep Judge right now, that somehow him being around isn't going to totally taint the GM search because ownership clearly don't want to fire him.

No other team who has cleaned house is operating this way. Only the Giants

C'mon. He's going to get them to play tough. Surely, that will work in the NFL where very few of the teams have tough players.

John Mara comes from a family where football's been inbred for 100 years, of course he was always going to be involved and want to try to run things like Tim and Wellington did. The only thing that was ever going to get Mara to step aside from making day to day decisions was an extended run of irrelevance like this that would either make him realize he shouldn't be the sole day to day decision maker, or make Tisch put his foot down and want to be more involved.
