I’m amazed that SF can win with JG. He folds under the slightest pressure

I'm amazed people continue to think the cowboys are any good. At least with the Devils the expectations are low. But every year as a cowboys fan you listen to the media hype the hell out of them. And you fall into the trap of maybe slightly believing it. But then they blow it like always. And you look back on the season and realize they were never really any good. They just beat up on complete trash teams and lost every game they played against a decent team.

the Cowboys seem held back in some level by Jerry Jones but the hype doesn’t help them either. They have a large number of front runners in the fan base and both the national and local medias feed into that. My point about the Niners was not in relationship to the Cowboys specifically though. Garrapolo has played the same way for years. He really doesn’t look much better to me with time. Maybe he will be a late bloomer.

Ben is currently 14/23 for 98 yards. In terms of guys playing too long he may be the worst ever.

So anyway, Bills vs Chiefs next week should be pretty lit

That pretty much describes Dallas too :P

Let us leave out the fact that it's risky as hell to run a QB draw up the middle with 14 seconds left and no timeouts, but what exactly was the point of that even if you drew it up with perfect timing? Is there any reason they needed to throw one Hail Mary from the 30 instead of two from the 40? Could Dak not get it down to the endzone from the 40?

And because of that last play it's not even gonna get brought up that Dallas kicked a FG with twelve minutes to go down sixteen, and not having stopped the Niners all day. Fortunately they were bailed out on that stupidity by Jimmy G's stupidity. And the Niners' defense somehow giving up forty yards in twenty seconds without a timeout to even get Dallas in prime Hail Mary position was only surpassed in stupidity by whatever was going through McCarthy's mind when he decided a risky draw before one Hail Mary was better than just taking two.

Wait wait. They ran a perfect fake punt, just to later kick a FG to take a 2 possession game down to a...2 possession game.

Eh, it almost worked out. They had two drives when they were almost down by 6.

Yeah but solely due to Jimmy G being stupid. You don't run a fake punt earlier in the drive just to kick a FG that doesn't actually help you.

I can't even call that cowardly play calling. It's just dumb play calling.

If BUF and CIN win this week, the AFC championship game is in Buffalo. When's the last time a team went Home-Away-Home in the first three round of the playoffs?

Arizona in their SB year is the one that came to mind immediately since they got the first round and NFCC home games due to winning a weak division. It’s probably rare though.

CIN is easy to root for in the AFC for me with the Burrows/Chase combo. Those 2 are fun to watch together are going to be dynamic for years to come.

They should’ve made todays game an afternoon start. I’ve got too many adult responsibilities to start watching a game after 8 o clock. TV ratings be damned.

I'm glad that three of football's worst fanbases got something to be angry about, and I don't even hate the Steelers (Cowboys and Patriots, though...). Plus, it was very enjoyable watching Allen and Mahomes run roughshod over their opponents. Sloppy QB play in a league that actively encourages them to do well is incredibly frustrating and makes the NFL have one of the worst regular seasons in pro sports.

Shame that Brady won against the useless 7 seed, but I'll take what I can get.

Yeah we're more like the Vikings than the Cowboys lol
