If the central and every team not named the Dodgers in the west weren't trash I'd be prepping for a standard Mets September special. But with 46 games left and a schedule that might be the most favorable in the league next month they'll at least fall into a wild card spot.

Thankfully they're finally calling up Baty, buy I can't fathom why Alvarez isn't getting at least a cup of coffee. Nido's out for another week with covid, Perez sucks, and McCann has the batting average of an ok hitting pitcher.
