The Nats got hosed. They only got a couple of top prospects and had to eat Hosmer's contract.
Then again, when you're trading a player of Soto's caliber, it's practically impossible to get a worthwhile return.
Hosmer blocked the deal. And now he's removed from the deal and it's done haha

I'd be floored if they don't add at least one high-leverage reliever, especially after they traded a ML reliever to get Vogelbach and Eppler defended it calling the relief market 'robust'.

LOL the Mets cheap out on the bullpen again...the Diaz contract negotiations this offseason might make the Bratt ones seem like a day at the beach. And don't sell me on Givens being a high-leverage reliever, he's a 7th inning guy at best. They don't have a single lefty worth a damn in the pen either.

Yeah, not sure why you'd trade a solid 3-4 starter for another outfielder who is injured no less. I think Cashman thought he had Lopez or Rodon and got played
