Yeah 100%, a quiet couple camp games doesn’t mean a whole lot in the grand scheme of things. But past hype is just that, he’ll have to earn it going forward like everyone else. Is he a top 10-15 guy for this draft in your eyes? Him or Heidt?
Watching the first scrimmage, I was like okay Peddle is going to go in the first round of the draft. Was quieter in game 2 but still was solid. I think he’ll have a big year in Drummondville
Agreed, I didn’t mind MacKinnon in the camp and he certainly is a good prospect in his own right, but I do think Dragicevic was a bit better. Although looking back to the sprint U18’s, even though he was an underager, Dragicevic did struggle there at times with pace and had some costly turnovers that may have stuck in the memory of the HC brass. But I think with a good year ahead he is still a top 50 prospect for this draft. As Brock stated on Twitter, Tomasino was cut in his draft year and still went on to be a first round pick
At this point, if anyone says Yager won't be top10, everyone else will say he is crazy. Yager has potential, but I can't give you a certain answer now.

I mean he’s not wrong. Both Slovak and Czech federations had every game available to stream for free. We even streamed it on YouTube for greater access, even pre tournament. Yet Canada will find a way to cut corners and not stream every game.
I don't know if it was ruined or not but I wish it had stayed where it was. I also don't like the Gretzky part of the name either. We have enough events in Canada and Hockey Canada obviously doesn't need any more money. Let other hockey fans enjoy the competition. It only helps the game.
