Latest details I've seen (official & speculative) was from this source:I may be a little behind. Have not kept up with the PWHL as much as I should. I understand they plan to add two teams next season(?), but have they mentioned anything about using the popularity boom that women's hockey gets after the winter Olympics to expand beyond that? No doubt in my mind that it is on their radar, I was just wondering if anything has been stated publicly. I know leagues like the NWSL have previously tried to take advantage of the international spotlight in that way.
Billie Jean King is on the advisory committee for PWHL Holdings, LLC. She is also very familiar with NWSL business strategies, and the same for other pro women's sports leagues in North America (ref. this article). I'm confident she & the other principal parties running The P' know more about the topic than you & me combined, so we mustn't worry ourselves about the operations of this very private entity.... have they mentioned anything about using the popularity boom that women's hockey gets after the winter Olympics to expand beyond that? "big money" will be you attending the Pull-One-Over Tour game in Raleigh.Yeah year three might be big money.
Minnesota usually didn't play like this either. Complexities.Montreal usually doesn’t play like this…
Unplug your TV antenna, you'll get even more snow.Good matchup, need something to watch with all the snow…
And yet hope still lingers, with 12 regular season games left to play (a lifetime in the PWHL schedule). The P's Trade Deadline is at 12:00 pm ET on March 2nd. Now that Carp is back, they just need a couple of talented supporting team members to sharpen Coach Fargo's rough lineup. Pascal Daoust should be burnin' up the phone lines 24/7, angling for two more missing pieces of the Sirens' spotty puzzle that will make Spoon and MPP look like reserve list fodder.Lord alive we stink

PWHL
According to PWHL Executive Vice President of Business Operations Amy Scheer, PWHL expansion news is set to come within the next 4-6 weeks.
Scheer addressed questions of expansion stating the league is now completing the evaluation phase of their expansion exploration, and will have news regarding whether or not expansion is occurring, and potential markets in the next 4-6 weeks. That timeline corresponds closely to the conclusion of the league's nine city PWHL Takeover Tour.
In what was perhaps a related move, the PWHL has also moved their Trade Deadline to March 13. The PWHL's Trade Deadline was originally scheduled to take place at 12pm on March 2, followed by the league's roster freeze date 24 hours later, but the move gives teams more time to evaluate their rosters, and also to plan for potential expansion ...
