Where is Bø? Production is so strange.

Looks promising. I guess it is only Samuelsson that might take him.

Would it be a bit of a come to jesus moment for Curling Canada if they are left without a single medal in curling at these Olympics? Like I won't profess to be someone that follows Curling all the time but I feel like if this was happening in hockey the alarm bells would be going off everywhere.

Well if it wasn't for mixed doubles, 2018 would've been the first time that Canada didn't get at least one medal in curling at the olympics. And while it does kinda suck to see Canada not do as great as it use to, its nice to see that the sport is growing more around the world and that there's more competition these days.

Canadian curlers usually have full time jobs so they are curling after work and during their time off. Some of the other top curlers from around the world are supported by their federations do they can curl full time. Canada with so many top end curlers can't just pick only a couple of teams to support financially.

Dang this sucks. Whatever the issue is Jones and her teammates are in danger of not going very far at 1-3 now after losing to the Swiss. Jones has been missing a ton of shots and Lawes has been up and down. So many important shots that could've scored points and won them games, Jones has been missing. :(

Røiseland :walrus:

After a disappointing GS it was nice to get one gold.

Oh no. Tandrevold collapses. Eckhoff took the bronze.

Also cool with a bronze to Tandrevold (hopefully). One of the coolest athletes around.
It was Eckhoff.
To be honest Women biathlon is so poor after all the greats retired. I remember those times where we had Koukalova, Mäkäräinen, Dahlmeier, Dorin-Habert, Domracheva and many more. There is no one even close to Olsbu because the rest of the women field is so bad.

I don't necessarily think that is true. Røiseland is on a completely different level than a couple of those at least. But for some reason quite common that you got one athlete that will dominate for a couple of years - like Domracheva and Dahlmeier did. Røiseland is just so ridiculously solid. Clearly one of the best ever - even if she has so far only been among the best for a couple of years. Late bloomer.

The Öberg sisters, Eckhoff, Wierer etc. are very solid. But as often happens during the Olympics some won't be at their best - like Hanna Öberg and Wierer this time. Also Eckhoff clearly isn't at her absolute best.

The production in China is so rubbish. They completely missed Tandrevold's collapse. I only watched with half an eye when it looked clear who ended up top 3. Didn't notice until I saw that the bronze had 13 or something on her bib.

Definitely. I thought Germany lost their medal in cross country women relay yesterday because they only focused on Sweden against Finland.

Five down under those conditions is solid. But Bø could suddenly miss 3 in one shooting.

Even more impressive by Maillet to get five down after he has seen Bø.

Feel sorry for Bø. He had 10m/s and then 30s later it dropped to 2m/s.

That is crazy impressive by Maillet.

Please let T. Bø get a medal.

It's bittersweet seeing Humphries winning gold for USA because we all know this should've been Canada's gold with Humphries getting gold

Tandrevold being sent home. Disaster for the Norwegian relay team. Favourites with her - will struggle without her.

It sucks but BCS did her dirty, protecting a coach with a history of being a bully instead of carrying out a proper investigation. Hopefully no one is holding it against her.

Disappointing first jumps for Norway. Especially when Tande and Johansson did well. Need a huge second jump from Granerud to kick of the second round.
