Hughes & Cozens are ahead. Boldy and Zegras are neck and neck with Caufield.

For the moment, Caufield would go 3oa
Hughes and Cozens may be ahead of Caufield because they are centres. Otherwise I would rank all 5 players around the same. Caufield and Zegras are on bad teams and Boldy is misused.

He is extremely dynamic. I’m pretty convinced that his skating power will naturally increase as he adds mass. That will also help his defensive side too.

He definitely is dynamic. There are some technical flaws when he hustles though, he needs to keep his upper body calmer to focus his energy more on lower body when going at 100%. That's something that can be improved on for sure though.

It won't.....Hughes doesn't need a "secondary" he makes his linemates better. I love Caufield but Hughes is and likely will always be on another tier above him.
Probably.

Not an insult on Caufield, Hughes is VERY good… like very.

I would love to see them play together though, that would be something. At the NHL level, knowing what they did together before.

To me, this guy is an untouchable prospect. Yes he's tiny, yes he's got lots of flaws, but the swagger and skill on the backend is nonexistent and he addresses it perfectly.

He just need to get bigger in pounds and reach only "1 to be 5"10 and it's all good. Quinn Hughes is 5"10 and 180 weight. Best comparable for Lane Hutson!

Ok, but all you have to do is shut our 1st line down and it’s over. Not the same with NJ. Like having more arrows in the quiver.

Hughes has played the entire season with the likes of Haula, Sharangovic and Mercer.......Nick Suzuki is much better than any linemate that Hughes has had. Caufield vs Hughes is like Shutt vs Lafleur.....no contest.

I’m suggesting this. Having more offensive threats, that are spread across more than one line, will relieve pressure on a team’s first line. Hence my “wait till our secondary fills out” and the analogy of “having more arrows in the quiver”. Lmfao

I try to never hype a Habs prospect too much cause I've seen all the heartbreaks thru the years get hyped on this board but I loved this guy before he got drafted and he's nasty and I can't wait for him to grow 2" and then go to MTL

Low percentage galore.

Just watched those highlights and started dreaming of just how many goals a game Caufield will get waiting fro a pass from Hutson as opposing Ds scramble to follow the little firefly.
I used to love the thought of fireflies flying through the offensive zone when I was 10.

Then Kyle McClaren™ happened.
