Could of been our third jersey even though our current one has grown on me a ton. Sti don't really feel the need to buy one. The reverse retro from this year was a must have.

I got my Dad the green Utica and while I like this red/black version, I would still choose the green version for him. So I’m not feeling regret right now.

I love these. They had similar ones last year. The big club needs to take heed.

Utica Comets at Providence Bruins. Part II
The Comets and Bruins just met last Sunday afternoon in Providence and the Comets won 2-1. They scored first (Wotherspoon) at 7:39 of the first. They held on through the 2nd in which they were outshot 17-9. Johnsson put the Comets up 2-0 at 6:22 of the 3rd.
Providence pulled their keeper early in the 3rd with ove 5 minutes to go and scored at 16:43. It was a gang fight to the end and the Comets and Daws (1st Star and 31/32) held on for the win.
2 nights ago in Utica the Comets waged a battle with the Cleveland Monsters in which both teams vied to see who could screw up more scoring opportunities while engaged in what might be compared to a medieval hand to hand combat with archaic weapons. The refs let most things go and the slashing, high sticking, boarding, roughing, and late hits went on all game long. Cleveland went up 2-1 at 11:03 of the third and with Daws on the bench Clarke scored from below the left dot with :59 seconds left in regulation.
OT followed and in a situation the Comets have not fared well (OT) Johnnson scored from the middle of the slot on a perfect feed from Thompson at 1:01.
3-2 win foir Utica.
The win carried the Comets stretch of consecutive games with at least 1 point to 12, 10-0-2-0.
It's the longest current such stretch in the AHL.
So let's take a look at the lineup for the night:

Comets just shoot it out. The Bruins looked to come right back, but it's icing.
Halonen has had a season's problem with taking passes and winning board battles.

Comets puck control and puck handling has been very weak tonight as well as a lot poor decision making. I have questioned the hockey IQ level of this team all season and am a firm believer it may be their #1 weakness.
