Yeah it was said by some big radio host in PIT a couple days ago. I’d love that. Not super high on Joseph anymore especially with him being a lefty but only taking back Granlund and only retaining 2.5M and getting back 2 firsts. I’d be happy.EK65 to PIT for Pierre Oliver Joseph, 2 Firsts and Granlund and only $2.5M kept by Sharks - is the rumor I've been reading about today. Thats how you force the issue GMMG. If we got 2 firsts that would be crazy
He’s weird is the best way to put it. All of his fancy stats look good (last I checked at least) but then you see him on the ice and he’s just kind of there. Has potential to be better but I think if he’s getting time here it’s only because he’s young.Know nothing about Joseph, is he good?
2 firsts would be insane.

Two way D that might lean a bit more offensive. 24.
That would have already been doneEK65 to PIT for Pierre Oliver Joseph, 2 Firsts and Granlund and only $2.5M kept by Sharks - is the rumor I've been reading about today. Thats how you force the issue GMMG. If we got 2 firsts that would be crazy

They were at one point. Dubas had said in his post draft presser he went to meet with Petry. Have to think it was try to get him to waive for a team not on his list.Pens might be wondering how to clear some cap.
Yeah but with the Pens, you accept that because chances are their 26 1st would be around the same level. It's pity every GM does the top 10 protection on their 1st round picks, that PIT 1st round pick in '25 could become similar value to our '20 first round pick that became Stutzle. Let's see what happens, hope he can get as much value as possible.
I didn't even think of that, that could be juicy if their top 10 protected first would go '26 unprotected first, that would probably mean a lottery pick in a year that we start being good again.Yeah but with the Pens, you accept that because chances are their 26 1st would be around the same level.
So why should the Sharks trade for yet another LD?EK65 to PIT for Pierre Oliver Joseph, 2 Firsts and Granlund and only $2.5M kept by Sharks - is the rumor I've been reading about today. Thats how you force the issue GMMG. If we got 2 firsts that would be crazy
Another way to look at it is, if Pittsburgh is throwing you two firsts and only $2.5M retention, you take whatever else they give you, even an LD.So why should the Sharks trade for yet another LD?
I'd rather have trade include Yager vs a top ten protected 2025 1st
He could be the RW sniper this team lacks

So basically what I said. It was said by the radio host even if he’s quoting it.A- It wasn't said by the radio host- Andrew Fillipponi.
B- Andrew Fillipponi is not a reliable source.
C- Fillipponi said a "Sharks expert" said the Pens are still in it.
D- we're talking eklund level stuff here.
E- rumors swirling Dubas might already be exploring secondary options. Don't know if that means he has given up on Karlsson or the Canes have a better offer or what.

Sharks expert on Erik Karlsson: The Penguins are STILL the favorites to get him. And the Sharks are more likely to trade him than keep him.

Considering one such person doesn't exist (unless he's talking about real Sharks) that should be the first sign this is BS.A- It wasn't said by the radio host- Andrew Fillipponi.

No, we need to trade him before he gets injured or shows he can’t sustain that play, which he can’t, and won’t for a bad team. He only played out of his mind so he could make himself valuable again and mission complete. He did exactly what he had to do. Now we have to move him while his value is highest. I’d rather take a lil less than risk the season starting. Plus, I want to lose more. He scores too much. This may be rocking the boat BUT if GMMG cannot get what he wants for EK65, I am all in for keeping him here until maybe trade deadline or next summer. He can help some of the young ones (especially Swedish players) and I really enjoy watching him play the game

I'm sure they'd be eager to trade their not-two-weeks-old 1st round draftee. So why should the Sharks trade for yet another LD?

Their fans on here were very eager. They included the pick in a lot of deals. Most often to clear up cap space.I'm sure they'd be eager to trade their not-two-weeks-old 1st round draftee.
