Yeah it was said by some big radio host in PIT a couple days ago. I’d love that. Not super high on Joseph anymore especially with him being a lefty but only taking back Granlund and only retaining 2.5M and getting back 2 firsts. I’d be happy.

He’s weird is the best way to put it. All of his fancy stats look good (last I checked at least) but then you see him on the ice and he’s just kind of there. Has potential to be better but I think if he’s getting time here it’s only because he’s young.

It sort of sounds like Sharks have a semblance of a deal with Pitt and Carolina, but both teams need to make another trade to make it happen. With Carolina, rumor is they’re trying to trade Pesce for potentially another 1st rounder. Maybe same with Petry?

B- Andrew Fillipponi is not a reliable source.
C- Fillipponi said a "Sharks expert" said the Pens are still in it.
D- we're talking eklund level stuff here.
E- rumors swirling Dubas might already be exploring secondary options. Don't know if that means he has given up on Karlsson or the Canes have a better offer or what.

I think if that was legitimately an offer on the table, it would have been done by now.
POJ also still has some decent upside.

I didn't even think of that, that could be juicy if their top 10 protected first would go '26 unprotected first, that would probably mean a lottery pick in a year that we start being good again.

Another way to look at it is, if Pittsburgh is throwing you two firsts and only $2.5M retention, you take whatever else they give you, even an LD.

I think the holdup in Pit is Petry who won’t wave to come to SJ and would probably require an asset from Pit to dump.

I would take Granlund, Petry and just the 2 first round picks for 25-33% retention.

Considering one such person doesn't exist (unless he's talking about real Sharks) that should be the first sign this is BS.

It's going to be real weird once Karlsson is gone and the rebuild is fully underway. Going to be pre-Zegras Anaheim levels of national quietness here with no real entertainers left and local media fairly incompetent.

No, we need to trade him before he gets injured or shows he can’t sustain that play, which he can’t, and won’t for a bad team. He only played out of his mind so he could make himself valuable again and mission complete. He did exactly what he had to do. Now we have to move him while his value is highest. I’d rather take a lil less than risk the season starting. Plus, I want to lose more. He scores too much.

Their fans on here were very eager. They included the pick in a lot of deals. Most often to clear up cap space.
So what's the big difference getting the 2024 and 2025 picks vs their 2023 and 2024 picks?

Especially if they're top 10 protected
