I'm not too worked up over this game. The Kings didn't play well at all and should have at least gotten a point against a really good Vegas team that is healthy. They had great pushback. Once they get their shit together they are going to be a solid squad.

Roy is easily worse. Durzi has a bright side to him which is offense. Roy has dropped off drastically in defense for a while now. Dude sucks.

Mitch Marner played a game of defense this year and was better than him.

The positive is the offensive potential of this team.

If Byfield and Villardi can take a step forward, the forward depth on this team is pretty damn good.
Haven't been able to utter those comments for years.

At least Villardi and Kaliyev looked good, bringing their preseason success over. They need to get Kaliyev off that 4th line asap. Putting him with Byfield and Villardi might do some damage.

Eichel is going to be a big problem for the division this year.

I have hope that this is for real because it's not just the confidence It's his improved skating ability has allowed him to be better on the puck and getting to the puck.
