I've broken my right wrist (strong hand) twice. My literal hand writing is a lot worse from it. I played bball growing up too and yeah, it improved my left hand a lot lol.

Getting old sucks, growing up I never understood hip pain and why people got hip replacements.... my whole body feels unaligned.

If it makes you feel any better I hurt my hip getting jammed up in a hit along the boards about a year ago. I couldn’t skate properly and felt completely off for a month or two and and after seeing a sports doctor thought I was heading for Ryan Kesler territory. Then one day it magically came right.

I managed to have hip injuries on both sides (no doubt one due to compensating all year for the other) over the course of one season and it was just a never-ending struggle. Nothing really locks one up like hip or back problems.

Broken both wrists, neither gained full mobility because I didn't let them heal and/or rehab properly. Can't do more than 10 pushups without pretty severe pain, if I type for too long consecutively it burns. High ankle sprain on one ankle, broke the other, have to stretch/warm up for like 10-15 minutes before I can get any depth on a squat in the gym. Such is life

Speaking of full mobility or full range of motion, I didn't realize a person can have more than the normal range of motion. I dislocated my elbow snowboarding. My dislocated arm side is like an inch shorter extended. I asked my PT about this and they said my dislocated elbow as 100% medically full range of motion, but I started off with like 110% ROM. That's why one arm is shorter than the other.

Reactions: Sean Garrity
Henrique Strome Terry
Comtois Zegras Vatrano
Jones Lundestrom McTavish
Carrick Grant Silf

but I actually think Zegras and Terry will be together from what I've seen... idk how I feel about it until I see the rest of the team in camp

Did you mean Jones instead of Carrick?

I knew I was forgetting someone lol fixed

Every random skate I've bumped into coaching Terry and Zegras have been playing together (not that it means anything). Training camp is going to be very interesting with a lot of battles for spots.

So after our 12 who would you guys have as our next guy in? None of our extra forwards are really ideal.

Bottom-6 replacement:
O'Regan
Groulx
Lopina

Top-6 replacement:
Gawdin
Tracey
Perreault
Regenda

We really do need another NHL forward. Nino woudl have helped complicated things for us in a good way. If we signed Nino, then I wonder if we would have gone after Klingberg?

I’m guessing we’ll probably carry 13F and 8D

F:

The 12 we project into every lineup

Groulx gets called up and is the first guy to slot in for any injury, O’Regan or Gawdin are the pressbox 13F

D:

Fowler, Klingberg, Drysdale, Shattenkirk, Vaakanainen, Benoit, Kulikov, Moore/Mahura/Beaulieu

"Drysdale struggled at times defensively but that should have been expected given the challenging workload. For the most part, the right-shot defender held his own and still managed to notch 32 points."

I agree with the thesis -- that Jamie could be poised for a big year -- but that quote is just flat out not true. He held his own??

According to Lisa Dillman’s article, Drysdale says he has put on 10 lbs and that he’s around 190 now.
He looked country boy thicker in the pictures from the Zegras and Drysdale meet and greet shit.

So Drysdale is now 5'11 and 190 lbs. Coincidently, Jacob Perreault's metrics at his draft was 5'11 and 190 lbs. They're pint-sized tanks. Cale Makar's metric at his draft was 5'11 and 187 lbs.

Drysdale's gonna need a couple more years of adding some more mass. Makar had the benefit of going the NCAA route to build his body.

In that picture above, we know that Zegras is ripped, but does Drysdale looks bigger than Z.

Drysdale is a pretty introspective guy it seems. Not quite Terry level, but a lot more than most. Always cool to have thoughtful players on the team

I skimmed back through a couple of McTavish's games with the Ducks last year and it was funny how often Hazy referred to him as a "no-nonsense young man." He really should be paired with Zegras, who is 100% nonsense, just to even things out.

PS - he moved his feet okay during those games. Not dynamic by any means but not annoyingly static like he was during the rookie showcase.
