I would expect Drysdale to get increasingly more minutes as well. But overall, we look pretty damn scary (in a bad way) on the PK defense.
I would actually expect Fowler to carry the load on PK. Someone have to play the right side, so either Kulikov or Fowler could be switching there.
I don’t think Drysdale belongs anywhere near a PK for 1-3 years. Save his minutes for PP and ES, and wait until he’s not entirely clueless at positioning.

I pretty much agree, but we are one injury or just an undisciplined game away from someone needing to fill in big time

We're just very thinking on the PK and that can impact things. Vaak is not a big PK'er as well, but will probably take a roster spot.

The Zegras and Terry effect.

Nothing against Terry who was great last season, But I think Z is the bigger reason they got so many national games, including 6 on TNT.

Ducks are rebuilding now and no way they would get this kind of coverage if not for the plays and ASG moments Z had.

Weren't there contending years that they didn't have this much coverage? Hell, I think Z got more off-season coverage this year than the franchise has gotten ever

The selection of teams must be due to the attractiveness of the games to the viewers. Why else would the Hawks have 14 games? But hey, we got more games than Vegas.

Just when you thought coverage of our team couldn't get much worse, Stephens has announced that he will be covering BOTH the Ducks and Kings. I obviously don't blame him for doing it, I'm sure he was just told to do so. Now instead of having our beat writer at most, if not all practices/games, he will be at half of them. I'm not even sure if anyone replaced Teaford at the Register, either. Looks like Derek Lee is our only hope.

😁 so there’s a good chance in the near future he completely shifts over to covering the Kings and we get someone new.

Who cares honestly, Stephens doesn't do much anymore for me. It's good to read his articles and I'm sure he'll continue with that but it's not like he's breaking any stories.
The one thing that might bother me is that since he won't be at all the games, he won't post the lineups as frequently, so we likely won't know anything until the Ducks' Twitter posts it.
