We should have no issue with the coach deciding not to tarnish someone in the media, especially if they are in fact shopping him. But man oh man are they more than willing to sewer the guys who don’t play “the right way.”

I don’t see any of those shots going in against NHL teams. He’s going to be a 10 goal guy if that’s what he’s got.
What? He's got the quick release of the top goal scorers, the quick wrist shot that you can elevate and get just under the crossbar is the deadliest shot in hockey - the big slapshot the most overrated.

I actually like the potential of the middle 6 to bottom 6. But this team needs 2-3 large star quality players. 2 fwds and 1 D at least. You have to think they are missing a high end 1D.

Going to need to go through drafts, trades, and signings. We need a real GM and new execs

Yeah, that's why I think it's 4-5 years at worst, draft high 2-3 more years, stockpile some draft picks and develop what's in the pipeline and under 25. In five years, Farabee, Frost, Tippett, Cates, York, Hart/Ersson are 27-28 in their peak years and the veteran leadership for a bunch of players they draft the next 2-3 years. Maybe you keep Couts (35) and TK (30) as your older statesmen.

They just need to commit to a rebuild, they don't need to tank, they have a bunch of guys who'll be 26-29 next year who'll have plenty of trade value over the next two seasons. A good GM could stockpile a lot of assets to be used to target one or two player to put them over the top.

You don’t Need to tank, but it improves your odds. But we are talking Bedard + to be good again so it’s realistically going to take years and hitting several times.

Laczynski is alive!

Zito spend more assets in two days in order to get blown out by TB than Fletcher did in five years.
6th rd for Hagg
1st, 3rd, Tippett for G
1st, 4th, for Chariot

2nd, 3rd (Braun), 1st, (2) 2nd (Risto/Ghost), 2nd, 3rd, 4th (TDA), 3rd back for Braun
so 1st, (3) 2nds, 3rd, 4th
Flyers still have Risto and TDA and can move them next year for picks.
Florida has nothing from those three deals
