Don’t get me wrong I more so mean for this off-season especially for the Flyers. I don’t think they will commit to a full rebuild but if they don’t get Gaudreau I think they come to realization that next year is a transition year.
The idea of buying out Lindblom and trading/buying out JVR for them to get turned down by Gaudreau and then not spending that money on anything this year gives me a good laugh in my head. Eating up cap space and assets in the future for absolutely no reason.

Now in reality they'll spend that money on something truly awful and then i'm no longer laughing.

Is the Suter contract that bad? Feel like he was pretty good for awhile

What I was doing was my own age calculations because I don't really like the way anyone does it. I made a sheet for post-FA.

I want to end up seeing how much of the average age decrease in roster from one year to the next is just subbing out Yandle for York and Thompson for a young guy.

For example, Yandle was 12,821 days old on opening day. York will be 7,952 days when this year opens. Napkin math and assumptions put that one swap as about 25% of the difference by itself.

I litrilly just did this on page 65. Once again, is my math not good enough for you?

1. No. I like spreadsheets and checking things myself.
2. There are 83 pages in this thread for me and you're not allowed to use Ignore. So we both have different number of posts per page and see completely different ones. This is a shitshow on every level.

Don't you have to multiply Hayes' number by 7?

(I didn't really do it on page 65.)

Fletcher brings in everyone elses bad assets and cannot even properly market his own valuable assets. I have never seen anyone in my life this bad at their job. He's an absolute cancer on this organization and right now we are in Stage 3 closing in on Stage 4.

he legit is a insider spy working to kill the Org. from the inside.. and its working..

Nah, the Bryz contract was a team killer without a CBO. A starting goalie making 9% of the cap who was out of the league four years into the scheduled nine.
I am taking into consideration that it was likely (many reports) not all his idea to sign him to that contract or at least make sure he was acquired and also that the CBO existed. Had it not, I'd look at the contract more negatively.

My overall point is that even though there were negative effects, the contract itself is not what caused the downward spiral of the Flyers.
