"The actual lines/pairs/positions don't matter, just the players listed."
False. 2017-18 is when; cracked 50+ points once as a Flyer.Literally the last time there was an NHL season.
Ghost had 51 points and the Flyers top two dmen had 31.
Corrected. Can't see MacEwen on the left side, Gaudreau has a history with Hayes and the point of the trade is to field two top lines.
Ratcliffe will get a shot in camp at 4LW, the other LH options would be Willman or Desnoyers.
Though you could go Laughton at LW and Laczynski at center.
My bet is Ellis doesn't play this season or they never would have traded for TDA, they factored in his LTIR when they made that move - and since it's only two years, if Ellis visits Lourdes and can come back in a year or two, they'll have some flexibilty.
Attard will play ahead of Seeler, probably Zamula as well, both averaged a much higher TOI at the end of the season.
And it all comes back to Hayes somehow.
But we are meant to believe that's just an absolute coincidence and they haven't inexplicably identified him as the key to the team and decided to build around him.
The funny thing is that Gaudreau’s decision likely changes the direction of where both the Flyers & Flames go from there. I’d imagine both teams if they end up not getting Gaudreau look more towards a future play.
Why does cracking 50 points on the league's 3rd worst team not count?False. 2017-18 is when; cracked 50+ points once as a Flyer.
Because the Flyers didn't trade a 50 point defenseman. The traded a 20 point defenseman is the crux of the gotcha he's attempting to pull off.Why does cracking 50 points on the league's 3rd worst team not count?
A tanking team that was deliberately stripped of talent, no less.
Well that contract isn't an overpay. You disagree.
Gaudreau and Bedard will be fun to watch in 23-24 at least.
When was the last time he was a 50+ point dman? Pace, another phantom stat.
What is more important, actual points or pace points?
agree 100%

Chuck time
Does not compute.
Do you happen to remember the reason that he did that?He once happily paid Parise and Suter 98 million apiece. A decade ago. He's very stupid.
Do you happen to remember the reason that he did that?
Nope, wrong answer.I think Holmgren ordered him to do it.
Don’t get me wrong I more so mean for this off-season especially for the Flyers. I don’t think they will commit to a full rebuild but if they don’t get Gaudreau I think they come to realization that next year is a transition year.
That was ownership the whole way.I think Holmgren ordered him to do it.
How many times has TDA cracked 50 points as a Flyer?False. 2017-18 is when; cracked 50+ points once as a Flyer.

He was only doing that if Suter came with him. Otherwise he was going back to New Jersey. A lot of people assumed the Red Wings were signing Suter, or at least wanted to go the hardest.Nope, wrong answer.
It's because Zach Parise wanted to return home.
