Corrected. Can't see MacEwen on the left side, Gaudreau has a history with Hayes and the point of the trade is to field two top lines.
Ratcliffe will get a shot in camp at 4LW, the other LH options would be Willman or Desnoyers.
Though you could go Laughton at LW and Laczynski at center.

My bet is Ellis doesn't play this season or they never would have traded for TDA, they factored in his LTIR when they made that move - and since it's only two years, if Ellis visits Lourdes and can come back in a year or two, they'll have some flexibilty.

Attard will play ahead of Seeler, probably Zamula as well, both averaged a much higher TOI at the end of the season.

Sides don't matter, but thank you, deady. The rest is exactly what I wanted. I just want the actual roster and it was easier to read laid out in lineup format than a list of names.

The funny thing is that Gaudreau’s decision likely changes the direction of where both the Flyers & Flames go from there. I’d imagine both teams if they end up not getting Gaudreau look more towards a future play.

When was the last time he was a 50+ point dman? Pace, another phantom stat.

What is more important, actual points or pace points?

agree 100%

Pace points are a fine predictor if you take proper context into account. Which is, once more, why it wasn't surprising to so many of us that he did what he did this year even on a terrible team. He's obviously always had the capability and also was obviously misused badly.

If the Flames lose Gaudreau and rebuild, they'll still be contenders again before the Flyers. Now that is comedy.

Don’t get me wrong I more so mean for this off-season especially for the Flyers. I don’t think they will commit to a full rebuild but if they don’t get Gaudreau I think they come to realization that next year is a transition year.

Well yeah. When they're a bottom 5 team next year, With no assets to speak other than their own first round pick, swallowed up in cap with bad contracts, the next GM is gonna have no choice but to 'transition'.

The problem is, there's going to be nothing to transition to. Noone touching Hayes or Risto deals, and once Couturier has a ahit year with 60 points because his winger is....*checks notes* Owen Tippett and Cam Atkinson, he won't be moveable either.

The damage done to this team in the last 2 years will literally take at least 4 to recover from.
