Bob was insane. Had to stay up until 2 for the finish but it was worth it. Added bonus getting to see Canes fans leave sad TWICE in one game.

Since their first round this Florida team has reminded me of the Caps winning team. A goalie who had fallen out of favor coming back and being hot at the right time, players up and down the lineup contributing, they just seem to have the it factor this playoffs.

I’m starting to believe the Cats are a team of destiny. Having Tkachuk win another OT game under those circumstances, and the way Bob is playing…it’s a lot.

Cats are great, but if every game goes to 3+OT, they might not have enough energy left for the final.
Yea i mentioned it only due to its location being closer to my family is SC. But yea most likely i will be looking at gulf coast area.
Side note, my son woke me up after midnight and i could not go back to sleep. Thankfully i checked the scores and realised that the freaking game is in 4th OT!!!!. Was hoping for 5th OT since i could not go back to sleep lol.

For what it's worth, the states with the top 7 highest murder rates per 100k population are all in the South and Florida sits at 20th highest. California is 30th and New York is 34 (or 17th lowest)
5 of the lowest 7 states are all in New England with Idaho and Utah completing the bottom 7.

I had beer league at 10:30, had a few beers in the parking lot with the squad after to celebrate the W, got home around 1:30, and was still able to watch most of the 4th OT.These guys are freaks. Can’t imagine playing an NHL game for that long.

Where do you play? I skated at Laurel at 9pm. I was absolutely gassed after the game. Panthers Canes started and hour before and went 3 hours after. Absolute crazy how much skating they did yesterday.
MedStar, mostly, but I sub for a few teams at The St James as well. I used to play at Laurel and Piney Orchard all the time back in the day but it’s too far of a hike from where I live now. MedStar is the best adult league I’ve been apart of out the six or seven that I’ve played in but Laurel was up there too from what I remember. The worst has got to be the league at Fairfax, the rink and the hockey are both ass there.
And yeah I was cooked after the game yesterday. I used to always volunteer to play again if a different team was short skaters and now by the last five minutes of the third I’m like please just let this end. Getting old sucks.

I only played one season there and it was called Kettler at the time. We would just play the same couple teams all season and it got boring in the traffic sucked.
On the Vegas game going on now I always remember those boards ping pong in the puck everywhere and it looks like Dallas got a lucky one
St. James probably two or so miles as the crows fly from me. Didn't know they have some adult hockey rec leagues.

Otter pulls a Spinnin’ Sammy to lose the game in OT. What a brutal goal. Dude really is like his idol MAF - either lights out, or terrible playoff saboteur.
Definitely too quick way for the game to end was gearing up for a bit more OT fun.
Yup. My neighbor who never played before joined a team there. He played soccer in Europe but he’s a hockey guy now.
Is it one of those deals here a full team has to join or can individuals sign up?
