Why (speaking from inexperience with the rules) was that 'slash' not a penalty? B's on the Florida guy by the goal...

Its like when NBA refs do not call obvious last possession calls. Lack of fortitude IMHO.
Gotcha. I don't want to see the refs deciding a game but that seemed a bit egregious to just "oh it's just boys being boys" about it. At least the rat didn't score there at the end!

For me I just want consistent call the entire game. Nothing infuriates player when something is a penalty in the 1st/2nd but not in the 3rd/OT.

I know the series is tied but the Kraken just seem to have the edge. Seems like a legit non-tripping call on Nate led to that Kraken goal to go ahead.

Can't imagine Bobrovsky can turn in a performance like that two games in a row.

The beauty of this year's playoffs is I don't give a shit who wins that series anyway.

Would love to see the Kraken eliminate the Avs, though! Nice for Grubauer to get some revenge

The biggest surprise for me is they are playing this well with Hakstol as their coach. I genuinely thought the guy was a clueluess idiot and laughed when the Kraken hired him.

More fool me.

Coaches seem to be like fine wines they slowly get better after each stop for some.

Well that’ll do it for Val’s NHL career.

Hope she’s ok.

Edit: do they even know where Nichushkin is right now?

You sure? Im reading a bit more into it. Like someone stole the womans passport. That's trafficking stuff. Unless the guy who stole the passport was Nichuskin he might not be that much in the crapper.

I don’t think anyone knows where Val is right now. It’s highly suspicious.

Maybe. But:

"
Seattle Police Department spokesperson Judinna Gulpan said there is no criminal investigation stemming from the incident. The police report notes that the woman hit the team doctor, but he did not want to press charges. A lieutenant with the Denver Police Department who was one of two officers traveling with the team told Seattle police that there were “no reports of any criminal interactions,” according to the incident report.

Avalanche coach Jared Bednar has said Nichushkin’s ongoing absence from the team is not disciplinary and not related to legal issues. When contacted by The Post a representative for Nichushkin reiterated that the team has made it clear his client is not with the team for personal reasons."

I mean maybe there’s a good explanation for this. But if a guy is missing playoff games with no timetable to return I think it’s fair to suspect he might be involved in something bad.
