That Tampa board is pretty cringe to read. Three Cup Finals in a row with two rings to show for it and their whole team sucks, the core is old and they should tear it down and rebuild, Vasi is a bum and should be traded, JBB ruined what Stevie Y built and should be fired, etc etc.

Am I the only one rooting for Toronto? If any team understands playoff heartbreak and inventing new ways to lose it’s us. I like seeing other teams not in our division break through.

Also, the hierarchy of teams I don’t like in the Metro is becoming clear to me. I am actively rooting for New Jersey and the Islanders. I think I dislike Carolina more than any other team in the league.
I absolutely want Toronto to win. Can't stand Tampa Bay. I don't like the Leafs fanbase but I could say that about a dozen teams anyway.

A Boston vs Toronto series - who doesn't want to see that? Pastrnak vs Sammy, Orlov, imagine Hathaway out there stirring up shit. It should be very entertaining.

Definitely want the Rangers to lose and the Devils have got them second guessing themselves. This is the beauty of the playoffs: as a series progresses, teams start to figure each other out. Change / adapt or die.

I don't like the Canes but I really don't like the Isles (epitome of boredom). And it wouldn't matter anyway cos they're toast. The wildcard teams never had a chance to be anything other than a first round exit. They made that pretty clear when none of them could even lock down a wildcard spot until the very end of the regular season.

Face goal
Never seen a puck smashing into a dmans face and then on the way down get baseball batted into the net by the opposing team for a goal.

I’ve been rooting for them for sure. They give me young gun vibes and say what you will about their fan base but the team itself doesn’t bother me in the least most are pretty likeable IMO.

I don't know if the Isles Canes series has been bad because I dislike both teams or if it's because it's actually just bad hockey. Watching those games is so uninspiring
I like no player really on either team and the hockey is like grinder hockey. Every other match up has been much more entertaining to watch.

Lol I can see Hathaway and Orlov reminding Sammie of the Caps/Bruins series. "Remember when you lost two OT games in 2021, well you won't get to OT this time!".

If Edmonton gets past the Kings, I can see them going all the way to the SCF.

Hathaway will definitely be chirping him, as will any of the Bruins who were there when he misplayed it behind the net and cost us the game in OT.

Jeez I dunno about Edmonton. They will face Vegas next and I think that could be a very tough series for them?

As good as Boston has been Matthews/Tavares/O'Reilly/Kampf vs barely standing 37 yo Bergeron/36yo Krejci/Zacha/Coyle is a pretty ugly mismatch. Though Boston's edge on defense is comparably massive
Or the mis-match in net.

Florida with a surprising late 1st period goal to take the lead despite a long stretch of dominating Boston play.

Edit late 2nd period goal that is.

Bergeron ties it up with a HQ high tip perfect deflection.

Florida needs a deflected face goal to regain momentum.

Boston immediately takes a penalty...smells like game management by the refs.

OH MY Florida ties it up early in the PP. Well played Refs....Well played.
