Worst Case, Ontario
Another loss for Guelph last night, this one against a struggling Sudbury club, puts the Storm to a no doubt very disappointing 4-12-2 on the year, just a couple games shy of being one third of the way through the season. Seeing some speculation on their boards that it may be time to sell.

Saginaw on the other hand, are off to a great start, perhaps somewhat surprising based on last season. With the league looking to be fairly wide open for the taking, and their best player (Mintyukov) being in almost surely his final year of junior, it would make a lot of sense for them to really make a run for it this year.

One thing the Spirit lack is high end offensive players up front, and that's where I think a Pastujov to Saginaw deal probably starts to make a lot of sense. He'd be getting to finish off his junior career playing back close to home, and fits a big need for a team that should probably be looking at going all in this year.

There's other teams in the league that will undoubtedly be looking to load up, like any year, but I actually think this one may be one of the more obvious fits assuming Guelph does indeed decide to sell.

This is good. VB's VHL team is rotating between three goalies and VB hasn't had a lot of playing time in almost three weeks (their team didn't play for a week). He finally got a game in recently, though. If VB is going to be sitting, at least moving up to KHL will give him more experience.

Mintyukov has a PP goal in the first, his 10th already.

Correction, his 9th.
Now he has his 10th, a game tying PP goal with 16 seconds left in regulation.

Hvidston with a primary assist a minute into the game.

Tschigerl has a goal in the first.

Highlights show the good and bad of mintyukov. Two nice goals, one activation where he should have received a pass for another easy goal, and him beaten by his man backdoor for a goal against.

Mintyukov with a primary assist on the tying goal late in the second.
And the primary assist on the EN goal to seal the win.

Zellweger hasn't been given credit yet but he will get the primary assist on Everett's goal.

They still haven't awarded zellweger his assist, which is mildly annoying.

Luneau added a shorthanded EN goal, his 5th, to finish 1+1.

Hinds finished his game a with a primary assist.
Checked the highlights and Warren was all over them at the start but then disappeared. His stat line is quite empty as well this game, I wonder if he was benched/injured?
