I am as well. Really excited about himHvidston with a primary assist on the PP. This is a kid I'm going to be following really closely. Youngest player in the entire '22 class and could have a hugely expanded role with Swift Current this season.
BustZellweger finished +2, five shots, no points.

Ranking the NHL's top 100 affiliated prospects in 2022: Skaters 50-26

No ducks here, which means McTavish, zellweger, and mintyukov are all in the top 25.
[On Olen Zellweger]You have to go all the way back to Darryl Sydor's 1990-91 season to find a more productive draft-plus-one campaign in the WHL than the one that Olen Zellweger just authored with the Everett Silvertips. For an encore, the Ducks defensive prospect followed that up with an 11-point performance in his country's colours at the summer World Juniors, setting a new record draft-plus-one scoring at the tournament as a defenceman. Picture-perfect skating form sets the foundation of Zellweger's game, allowing him to effortlessly cover large swaths of ground on a shift-to-shift basis, contributing to every phase of the game. There are some in the industry who worry about his capacity to defend at the NHL level, but the Ducks' second-round pick in 2021 has thus far proven a stout defender in-zone and between the blue lines.
[On Pavel Mintyukov] An offensive defenceman by trade, Pavel Mintyukov makes something happen nearly every time he steps on the ice. The Ducks first-round pick in last summer's draft stacks high-end handling and passing skills on an effortless forward stride and four-way mobility to glide past opponents in transition and from the offensive blue line. Mintyukov is one of only a handful of defencemen from last year's draft with true power play quarterback upside, but volatility as an in-zone defender could limit a coach's trust at evens.
[On Mason McTavish] One of the most advanced small-area scorers outside of the NHL, Mason McTavish is destined for a lengthy, productive career in the sport's top league. There isn't any assignment that the Ducks former third overall pick can't handle. You know the type, someone a coach calls on with a minute left in one-goal games, defending a lead or trying to even up the score. His pace and engagement level weren't always where they needed to be with the Hamilton Bulldogs last season, but we don't see that as something to worry about long-term.
