That's the type of character I think they could use with that group. They have some great young players, but a chip-on-the-shoulder kind of bastard with exceptional talent would fit them like a glove. They need that edge.

Yeah this offseason feels like the one where a bunch of the guys who you never expect to hit the market do and a ton of big banners are moving in trades. I’ll take the chaos and think it probably benefits the Avs in the end.

I wouldn't be shocked to see a few trades tonight.

I'm no draft expert and even less so as I get older and have less time for the prospects, but my understanding and perception is this simply isn't a great draft.

Teams in rebuild mode are more excited about getting a youngish 20s player further along in their development than drafting a subpar top 10 pick tonight.

Chychrun is a good #2-3 guy. I'd say you trade Chychrun + 32 + 34 for #2 and feel good about it if you're Arizona.
