I don’t see what he’s saying that’s so biased. He’s merely stating that the Avs didn’t want to meet Kuemper’s price point and that trading for another unproven goalie is a gamble. These are facts, there doesn’t appear to be any sentiment attached unless you’re referencing something I didn’t see.

It's more of an assessment of AJ as a whole. I like his analysis. It's always with the human element as part of what he does. Some people speak about players like they are baseball cards they are trading. But we all know how sentimental people can be about players. When Jost was traded he was damn near in tears for the entirety that post trade stream.

I think there is a sentiment that if you win the cup with someone, you should turn around and give that player the respect they deserve. But I also feel like maybe my lack of attachment to DK makes me kind of biased the other way. I am not a big fan of it and don't think we should ever pay a goalie, unless it's a Shesty or Vasi type player, any more than we have to pay them.

It would be moronic for Kuemper to accept 3 yrs. Him asking for a Markstrom/Grubauer/Binnington deal is absolutely what he should be seeking. Cash in. Hes got a cup now so cashing in while you can is an absolute must for him and I dont blame him. Same with Kadri.
