Roughly the same as the last time you asked what his ceiling was a month or so backHey guys, how good of a prospect is Othmann excluding goalies and Lafreniere/Kakko?

I think hes a really good prospect but nowhere near the likes of Laf and Kakko. Laf and Kakko haven’t lived up to it yet but when they were both considered the type of prospects who would become franchise cornerstones. Othmann is probably a level or two below that. If you check most NHL affiliated prospect rankings he’s usually somewhere in the 20s to 30s which is about right, below all the elite talents but still one of the better prospects in hockey.Hey guys, how good of a prospect is Othmann excluding goalies and Lafreniere/Kakko?
Let me know when your biography is available. I might even splurge and go for the hardcover. Can relate to you both. Had fractured vertebrae in a massive car accident back in 1986 where I broke 27 bones... (head on collision with a lumber truck that by accident ventured onto my side of the road). 6 times I have had kidney stones and they are really really painful. Open heart double bypass surgery in 2016 compounded with complicated lung surgery right after that. But nothing hurt me as much as the heartbreak as when I found out my (ex)wife was banging two of my better friends. And that Beauty Queen babe that suddenly dumped me and chose my other bad boy buddy cuz I was "too nice". It all led somewhere else - for better or worse. We live. We learn. We hurt. We love. We suffer. We heal... and we stubbornly move forward until one day we drop.

Has Othmann not had a point in a while or something?
points schmoints (no sarcasm)Has Othmann not had a point in a while or something?
I want to see better consistency and a larger sample size before I get too excited. How long until Laba become the "late round pick we put all our hopes and dreams in"?
How is his skating?I want to see better consistency and a larger sample size before I get too excited.
He was passed over in his first draft, though he was on the young side for that draft. He has 10 points in 9 games, but all 10 points have come in 4 games.
Great start though. Let's see where he is in a couple months.
Pretty good. Not elite or anything but he gets around quite well. How is his skating?
Berard, Cuylle and/or Othmann could be ready as early as next season, but for the rest, I think it will be a few years.Hopefully at least a few of Laba, Barbashev, Grubbe, McDonnell-Barker, Sykora, Berard, Cullye, Othmann make it and help solidify out bottom six.
Makes sense. Either way I'm hoping we will see the end of black holes in the bottom of our lineup.Berard, Cuylle and/or Othmann could be ready as early as next season, but for the rest, I think it will be a few years.
I think Berard is going to need at least a year in the AHL. The other 2 could be on the team next season for sure.Berard, Cuylle and/or Othmann could be ready as early as next season, but for the rest, I think it will be a few years.
The potential for a good bottom six is there.I think Berard is going to need at least a year in the AHL. The other 2 could be on the team next season for sure.
the Rangers better not trade him for Kane
