Makes sense. The CHL is underway, so those guys can train for a week with their clubs then get right into it next weekend. Boyko will probably stick a little longer as you always need goalies.

That and he appears to be showing well, along with the fact that him playing against guys like Panarin and others is going to be eye opening for him probably beyond what a junior camp would be. Players need to build chemistry, goalies not so much. To quote our old pal Geoegiev, the goalies system is to stop the puck.

First for Vaisanen and it was a beaut. He has the frame to be a legit power forward. That was a legit power forward move with some dangle mixed in.

I think he will be in the line of a Viktar Stalberg type and I would not mind that type of player on this team.

Won't let me watch the video.
Sorry, it's really just a thumbnail that redirects to the Liiga.fi website. I've noticed the videos in this format do not like ad blockers. In any event, you may have more luck going directly to that site and clicking on the game, then finding the video.

Ah, that did the trick, thanks!

Nice move! Love those quick hands on the first deke around the defender.

sign his linemate. More RW depth only 23 can’t hurt
Kjellberg's teammate the last few years, NYR had the looks and the opportunity
EP lists as LW ... but he shoots R

just how NYR could have ELC'd Alfano

one of those rare cases where
an undrafted, still draft-eligible player joins a Dev Camp, Rookie camp, or NHL camp on an ATO
and actually gets signed to ELC

Rangers never sign these types

Maybe Schwindt turns into something but 17 points in 68 games for a Left Wing last year in the OHL doesn't scream at me that he has high end talent.
Yeah what does he profile as? A fourth line banger? We sign all kinds of UDFAs and are always very active in that market.

All I’m saying is sight unseen this guy appears to be a long shot with limited upside. It’s not like there aren’t under 20 undrafted guys that might be more than worth it—the Canadiens signed a guy Arber Zhekaj a couple seasons back out of Kitchener who I think is very intriguing but really I don’t think that there are many worth taking a flyer on.

Yeah, I 100% agree. I'm sure there are players in this situation that have been signed and proved to be shrewd acquisitions, but I'd wager the vast majority amount to nothing (and there aren't very many to begin with).
