I kinda want the Avs to claim Fix-Wolansky because I've always liked that name.

I want somebody to take a chance on him because of his skill... I highly doubt he makes it, but would love a bad team to take a chance on his skill and let him run for 30+ games.

I get the whole « Avs don’t care about 3G and 4G » because of what they did last season.
And maybe they won’t get an additional goalie.

But at the same time, if they REALLY didn’t care, and we’re comfortable, why sign JoJo in the first place?

Honestly, if I'm an NHL player trying to make a name for myself I'd rather play there than a lot of other markets. That rink will be one hell of a place to play.

Except....he wasn't wrong. JMFJ was a f***ing beast for us last year. He was supposed to be #7/8 on the depth chart and ended up having to play 2nd pairing minutes. Not his fault that was way above what he was positioned for and to be honest, he did about as well as could be expected when forced into the role. That's kinda been the running theme of the second half of his career though. He does so many little things well in limited minutes that coaches inevitably play him higher up in the lineup than they should. I wish that Champion nothing but the best.


Don't you dare put this on my childhood. That is a product of the 90s, not the 80s. That's more Ren & Stimpy than GI Joe or Bugs Bunny.

I wouldn't call JJ a beast. I'd just say he was serviceable when called upon

Low key, if they pack that place with students it'll be an awesome venue to take an NHL game in at. That speed will be on display even from the "nosebleeds" of a 5,000 seat auditorium.

Armstrong said that at the beginning of camp about Perunovich, meaning he has been injured too much to earn a spot so far. Not about this injury specifically, but it clearly applies.
